Merry Keeping Christmas Challenge

Nov. 25, 2020

It's time for this month's installment of the Keeping Christmas Inspiration Blog Hop!  The Challenge Design Team is sharing Christmas creations on the 25th of each month!

The whole idea is to have some Christmas cards and projects in your stash ready to go for December 2020!

This will be our last challenge.  Kelly has decided to close the blog after this.  I sure have enjoyed being a part of this talented group over the last few years.

So hop along and be sure to visit each blog.

There is a lot of inspiration and ideas to get your creative juices flowing!

Kelly Lunceford (Creator)

My card is created on a white card base.  I added a fun piece of DSP of pink, red and gold foil for my background.  I cut the Jingle bells from an old die in my stash with gold foil.  I also add the senitment "MERRY"  using the MFT Stacked Merry Die.  I also added a snowflake cut in half along the edge. Such an easy card, but so shiny and fun!

Thanks for stopping by!  Leave a comment and let me know your thoughts.  I love to hear from you!

The hop is hosted by the fabulous Kelly Lunceford's blog, so head over there to start from the beginning.
ENJOY the blog hop!  I hope we inspired you to make a few cards, too!

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at  The Paper Players!

The lovely LeAnne is our hostess this week and she has a fantastic sketch for all of us!  We can't wait to see what you create!

My card is created on a white card base.  I added a gold foil background.  I found a few pieces of DSP with gold foil in them and cut the shapes to match the sketch.  I used the same foil and cut 3 leaves using the Stampin' Up! leaflet dies.  I added a piece of twine.  I cut the word "thanks" out of the white foil paper 3 times and once out of the blue foil.  I stacked them up and the dimension adds great detail.

Praying For You Tic Tac Toe Challenge #tttc091

 Nov. 19, 2020

It's time for a new challenge at the Tic Tac Toe Challenge!

We hope you will play along with our new board!

My card is created using the diagonal:  Metallic, Ink Blending, Brown

Unfortunately, I needed a sympathy card for a friend that lost her Daddy this week.  I decided to use  copper metallic for my background.  I trimmed it with an MFT border die.  I added patterned paper that had pine cones.  I then cut a copper sunburst to use as a frame.  The center piece is watercolor paper that I sponged with Distress inks .  I stamped the trees in dark brown using the Stampin' Up set Lovely As A Tree.  (Always a favorite set of mine!)  I added a brown ribbon and a sentiment.

Sorry I only have one picture!  It was raining and I hurried to get this photo taken.

Please stop by and see all the fabulous cards by the Design Team.  There is so much inspiration!

We hope you will play along with us this week!
