The challenge will end on Friday Jan.11th  @ 6pm EST.

I had a lot of fun creating this card.  I think my blue background is a little darker than the challenge picture, but hey, it's still in the same family!  I used watercolor paper and distressed the top layer with Broken China and Stormy Sky Distress Oxide inks.  I splattered white paint on the top after it dried and also added a few drops of water.  That gave the effect of snow.  The snowmen and bird are from Honey Bee Stamps Snow Buddies.  I used the matching Dies to cut them out. I colored the accessories with Copic Markers and outlined the snowmen with Copics, too.  The snow banks were cut using the Lawn Fawn Hillside Borders.  I stamped the words "Let It" off a a stamp I found in my collection and the snow die is a retired Stampin' Up die.  I cut it out in black and then four times in white for dimension.  I love the way this turned out.  It made me smile!

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at Sunday Stamps!

My card is created on a white card base.  I used a fun set of patterns from a paper pack that I purchased at Hobby Lobby.  I love the SW, so this paper made me smil--so bright and cheerful!  I added Marina Mist (SU) card stock behind the smaller rectangles.  The enamel dots were added for fun.  I used red and white Baker's twine to complete the sketch.

Here is sketch #543:

My card is created on a white card base.  The snow paper was in my stash for the background.  I stamped the Northwoods stamp on white paper and colored the images with Copic Markers.  I backed the white rectangle with black card stock.  The two snowflakes were cut with white and black card stock using a die.  Wink of Stella was added to the snowmen for shine.

My card is created on a Tranquil Tide (Stampin" Up!) card base. The rest of the card is created using a paper pack by Prima Santa Baby Collection.  I cut the different layers with papers from the pack and backed them with Tranquil Tide card stock.  The enamel dots are from Prima Santa Baby Collection.  The Merry Christmas is stamped in black ink.  I love the way this card turned out.  All the shades of pink are perfect for our challenge.

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at  The Paper Players

The amazingly talented Jaydee is our hostess this week.  The theme is "It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas"---oh so many possibilities.

My card is created on a white card base.  I used a brick stencil and stenciled the top layer with Distress Oxide ink.  The Santa and tree are from MFT BB Secret Santa.  I colored the image with Copic Markers.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set and stamped in black ink.  I added Wink of Stella to the ornaments and tree for shine.  A few enamel dots were added to complete my card.

On a personal note, the halls are decked at my house.  My friend and I decorated 3 trees.  Lots of work, but oh so wonderful to look at.
