I am sorry that I haven't posted in a few days. My mojo has been lacking lately. Not sure if it is the heat in GA, or I just needed a few days to be a bum. HA!
Well, when I saw the colors at Pals Paper Arts and the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches, I knew just what I wanted to do! So, I thank both of these amazing teams for helping me get back in the groove!
I absolutely LOVE this color palette! Tempting Turquoise and Rich Razzleberry are two of my all time favorites!
I just received my new stamp set from SugarPea Designs-Wine Not. Every time I look at this girl stomping grapes, I can't help but think of I Love Lucy! I still watch that show when I can find it on TV. She was by far, one of the funniest ladies that ever lived. I hope you will enjoy my card.
I stamped the girl with Momento Black ink and colored her with Stampin' Up! markers and a few Copics for dimension. I fussy cut her and worked on the rest of my card.
The base card is white. I added a strip of Tempting Turquoise (Brights) DSP and then added a strip of Rich Razzleberry after I cut a banner on the end with my snips. The sentiment is heat embossed using Rich Razzleberry ink and clear embossing powder. I stamped a couple little birds delivering more grapes for her and colored those with the same markers.
Thanks for stopping by my blog! Please leave a comment and let me know your thoughts! I love to hear from you!
Have a fantastic day!
HUGS!
Claire
