Just Want To Say --Happy Birthday Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC273

 December 26, 2021

I hope all of you had a fabulous Christmas!

It's time for a new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  We have a fun color challenge for all of you!

Use a minimum of 3 colors and a neutral of your choice.

My card is created on a white card base.  I added a panel of Night of Navy.  The next panel is a piece of patterned paper from my stash that has shades of pinks in ombre.  The acetate is from Stampin Up.  It is from a collection called Golden Garden Specialty Acetate.  It is so pretty!  The sentiment is from the Stampin' Up Floral Gallery Dies.  I cut the sentiment in Night of Navy and Gold glitter paper.  The Happy Birthday is stamped using the Art Gallery SU set.  I added gold sequins to complete my card!

Blessed Christmas Paper Players Challenge PP571 Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC272

 December 12, 2021

It's Sunday and time for new challenges at The Paper Players and Sunday Stamps

The lovely LeAnne is the hostess at The Paper Players  this week.  She has a fabulous color challenge for all of us.  It is just perfect for the holidays.  It is the last challenge of the year, too.

The Sunday Stamps Challenge is an amazing sketch by Heather.   It was so easy to combine these two challenges this week!

 Sketch by Heather

My card is created on a white card base.  I found this fabulous tree DSP in my stash for the background.  I used the Simon Says Stamp Believe in the Season stamp/die set.  I stamped the rectangle panel with Merry Merlot ink on Merry Merlot card stock.  I heat embossed the deer in gold and edged the oval with Versa Mark and embossed the oval with gold embossing powder.  I stamped the sentiment from the same set and embossed it with gold powder, too.  I added twine and gold gems to complete my card.

Star of Wonder Star of Night Tic Tac Toe Challenge #tttc143

 Dec. 9, 2021

It's time for a new challenge at the Tic Tac Toe Challenge!  We hope you will play along with our new board!

My card is created using the bottom row:  Gold, Stars, Banner.

My card is created on a white card base.  I added a panel of gold foil.  On the top white layer, I embossed the star, sentiment and filigree with gold embossing powder.  I cut the star in gold foil, too to add to the top of the embossing.  I used the retired SU set Star of Light set for this card.  I also used the matching dies.  The banner is inside the card on the sentiment.

Please stop by and see all the fabulous cards by the Design Team.  There is so much inspiration!

We hope you will play along with us this week!

Merry Christmas Paper Players Challenge PP570

 Dec. 5, 2021

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!

The fabulous Jaydee is our hostess this week and she has an amazing Theme Challenge for all of us!  We can't wait to see what you create.

My card is created on a red card base.  I used the directions and CAS'd the amazing Ann Schach's Double Z-Fold Card from a few weeks ago.  I loved her card so much!  I found this retired SU Christmas village paper in my stash and thought it was perfect.  It looks like a winter wonderland to me!  The DSP was from the Home for Christmas paper pack.  I backed each panel with green paper and then added an embossed snowflake panel on the top.  The snowflakes were stamped in Soft Sky using the retired Snowflake Flurry set by SU.  I used the matching dies to cut them out.  The sentiment is from an old set, too!  I guess it is "old home week" for my card.  I love a lot of the old sets I have saved and it fun to pull them out at times to show them some love.  A few rhinestones and my card is complete.  I also made a matching envelope.  Thank you, Ann for the inspiration!
