My card is created on a white card base.  I embossed a piece of black card stock with a spider web embossing folder.  I added a strip of plaid and a strip of spider paper to the side.  The circles are cut using SugarPea Designs Zig Zag Stitched Circle dies.  I stamped two cobwebs and a spider inside the white circle.  The little ghost/witch is from a favorite Halloween stamp set of mine.  This set is from Waltzinghouse Designs.  It is no longer in business but, I love this set and will keep it in my stash forever.  The sentiment is from the same set.  I colored the image with Copic Markers and added Wink of Stella for shine.

Grateful Paper Players #456

August 25, 2019

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!

The Lovely Laurie is our hostess this week and she has an amazing sketch for all of us!  I love this layered sketch and I had so many ideas for ways to use it! It is definitely a keeper!

My card is created on a white card base.  I added a panel of dark brown and plaid for my background.  The circles were cut using circle dies from coordinating papers.  The sweet little girl is from the Pure Innocence My Favorite Things collection.  It is called Jumping with Joy!  I think this set is retired.  I colored her with Copic Markers and paper pieced her Fall outfit out of matching scraps of Fall paper.  The leaves are from the same stamp set and colored with Copics.  The wood grained rectangle anchors the sketch and the sentiment is stamped on it using the same stamp set.

August 22, 2019

It's time for a new challenge at Inspired By!

Don't you just love this inspiration photo?

What inspires you about this photo?  The nautical theme, the colors, the anchors the pineapple?  We can't wait to see what you create?

My card is created on a Night of Navy card base.  I added a white panel and a yellow panel embossed with anchors.  The white banner is cut using Lawn Fawn Stitched Party Banners Die.  The little sailboat and the sentiment is from Simon Says Stamps.  I added twine and yellow enamel dots.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.  Check out all the inspiration from the Design Team.  We sure hope you will play along with us this week!
