My card is created on a white card base.  I added a piece of black card stock to the top of the base.  I cut a white stitched panel for the next layer.  I cut three gold foil circles with stitched circle dies.  Then, I cut three more white circles using the same dies that would fit on top of the gold circles.  Using the MFT Fireworks stamp set, I heat embossed the fireworks with gold embossing powder.  The sentiment is heat embossed with gold embossing powder on black card stock.  I added a few gold stars to complete my card.

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!

The fabulous Jaydee is our hostess this week.  She has a fantastic Clean and Simple Challenge for us.  "The North Pole" is the theme and we can't wait to see what you create!

My card is created on a white card base.  I cut a smaller panel in water color paper and I cut it with a stitched rectangle die .  I used water colors and water on the background.  I added a Santa from Papertrey Inks.  I think he is retired now.  It is from the Believe stamp set.  I colored him with Copic Markers and I added Snow Writer on the fur.

I Love You. You're Welcome. Inspired By 98

Nov. 14, 2019

It's time for a new challenge at Inspired By!

We are all so busy getting ready for the holidays.  I hope you will find time to play along with our inspiration photo.

How does this photo inspire you?  Is it the colors, the circles, the garland, the leaves, the berries, felt??  We can't wait to see what you create.

My card is created on a white card base.  I was inspired by the colors in the photo.  I added a piece of snowy patterned paper to the background.  I took several pictures, but could not get the blue to show up very well.  I cut this piece with a scalloped die.  I also cut a snow drift with the scalloped die and added Versa Mark and lots of glitter to make the ice.  The adorable little girl is from MFT Pure Innocence Sassy Skater stamp set.  I paper pieced her skirt and jacket.  I added polka dots with a white gel pen.  The sentiment is stamped in black.  It is from the same stamp set.  I added a few snowflake jewels I found in my stash.  Wink of Stella was added for shine, too.  Doesn't she look like she is having fun?  I have fond memories of skating on little ponds on the farm as a child.  I was never very good at it, but it was always fun!

Thanks for stopping by my blog.  Check out all the inspiration from the Design Team.  We sure hope you will play along with us this week!
