It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.  

The Lovely LeAnne  is our hostess this week and she has a fabulous sketch challenge  for all of us!  It is always so fun to see all the fabulous entries with sketches.  So get creative and have fun with this one!


                    



 I love Halloween cards, so I thought I would work on my stash for this season.  I used a paper pad that had non tradtional colors for Halloween.  I loved the black and pink for a new take on this holiday.  The witch and sentiment are from the Simon Says Stamp set Witch Please.  I love this set and I am certain you will see more cards with this set.  I added a piece of black/white ribbon around the panel.  A few enamel dots and Wink of Stella were added for shine.

Smart As Can BEE The Paper Players Challenge PP654 Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC316

It's Sunday and time for new challenges at The Paper Players and Sunday Stamps.  

The Amazing Ann is the hostess at The Paper Players.  The challenge is Clean and Simple and it is "All About Bugs."  There are so many kinds of bugs!  So get creative and remember to keep it CAS!

This fantastic sketch challenge at Sunday Stamps is by Heidi and perfect for all types of cards!  So many possibilities with this one!  Have Fun!  






The back panel of the card is white and embossed with an embossing folder for texture.  The white top rectangle is backed using yellow.  The honeycomb and bees are stamped using the Simon Says Stamp set Bee Yourself.  I colored the bees with Copic Markers and fussy cut them.  Then I added Glossy Accents on the wings for shine.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set.

Witch Please The Paper Players Challenge PP653

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.  

The Amazing Anne Marie is our hostess this week and she has a beautiful color challenge  for all of us!  It is always so fun to see all the fabulous entries with color combos.  I had to put a lot of thought into this one.  I didn't want to do flowers, so I decided Halloween is coming, I would go that direction. 


I used black as my neutral and background on my card.  I used a watercolor paper panel and smooched Blackberry Bliss and water to create this background.  I kept spraying it with water and used a paper towel to make water spots.  I then flicked black ink splatters on it.  The moon is created using Daffodil Delight card stock.  I used a sponge and blended Sweet Sorbet and Blackberry Bliss to create a spooky moon.  The witch is stamped in black using the SSS  Witch Please and the sentiment is Calypso Coral and Daffodil Delight using the die Witch Please Die.  I added Wink of Stella on the Witch for shine and some black enamel dots.

You're a SUN-SATIONAL Friend The Paper Players PP652 Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC315

It's Sunday and time for new challenges at The Paper Players and Sunday Stamps.  

I am the hostess this week at The Paper Players. School is back in Georgia, but there is still time to have "HOT FUN in the SUMMERTIME!"  So let's keep celebrating summer a few more days! 

This fantastic Color Challenge at Sunday Stamps  is perfect for all types of cards!  So many possibilities with this one!  Have Fun!  







I loved the color combo at Sunday Stamps and decided it would work perfectly for my beach themed card.  The turquoise frame and white panel were cut using dies.  I stamped the image using a retired stamp by SugarPea Designs.  It was called Seaside Wishes.  I colored the image with Copic Markers.  I found a scrap of orange waves in my stash and decided it would be the perfect accent.  The sun was cut twice and I mounted the second one with diminsionals. Wink of Stella and enamel dots were added to complete my card.
