YOU RULE Tic Tac Toe Challenge #tttc

August 19, 2021

It's time for a new challenge at the Tic Tac Toe Challenge!

We hope you will play along with our new board!

My card is created using the first column: Alpha Dies, Red and Apple.

My card is created on a white card base.  I added a red  and a fun alphabet patterned paper on the base for my background.  The backpack was created using red and turquoise using the Spellbinders Small Die of the month from Aug. 2019.  It is called Pack It Up!  I never used it before and it is quite time consuming to cut all the little detail pieces, but so worth the effort!  I love the way it turned out and I think Robert (my grandson)  will love it!  I added blue enamel dots to complete the card!

Please stop by and see all the fabulous cards by the Design Team.  There is so much inspiration!

We hope you will play along with us this week!

Miss You Paper Players Challenge PP554

 August 15, 2021

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!

The amazing Anne Marie is our hostess this week and she has a fun CAS challenge for all of us!  "Masculine" is the theme this week.  We can't wait to see what you create.  Remember Clean and Simple is:

minimal layers
little to no embellishments
lots of clean white space  (minimal pattern)

My card is created on a white card base.  I added a two inch strip of patterned paper from the Stampin' Up! Expressions in Ink set.  I Love this paper so much!  I used a "miss you" die to cut out the sentiment and filled it in with the letters cut in Just Jade card stock.  The feathers were stamped on Crumb Cake and stamped with the same ink using the Clearly Besotted Fancy Feathers stamp set.  I think this set is retired.  After I cut them with the matching dies, I embossed them with and embossing folder in my stash for more texture.  I stamped the "thinking of you" from a set in my stash.  Twine was added to the top of the feathers.

You Rule Paper Players Challenge PP553

 August 8, 2021

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!

I am the hostess this week and I have a very bright color challenge for all of you!  I know flowers will be a big element this week, but with school going back in Georgia, I decided to make a card for my grand daughter Addison.  Can you believe she is in the 7th grade?!?!  How did that happen???

My card is created on a white card base.  I added a fun green patterned paper on the base for my background.  The backpack was created using the three colors in the challenge using the Spellbinders Small Die of the month from Aug. 2019.  It is called Pack It Up!  I never used it before and it is quite time consuming to cut all the little detail pieces, but so worth the effort!  I love the way it turned out and I think she will love it!  I added white enamel dots to complete the card!

I Am Thankful For You Tic Tac Toe Challenge #tttc125

 August 5, 2021

It's time for a new challenge at the Tic Tac Toe Challenge!

We hope you will play along with our new board!

I am the hostess this week so I thought I would use two columns and be an overachiever!  LOL!

Top Row:  Sunflower, Twine Green

First Column:  Sunflower, Embellishment, Yellow

My card is created on a white card base.  I cut a dark brown background and a wood grained background using a die that I found in my stash.  I stamped the sunflowers on the wood grained background using the Stampin Up Painted Harvest stamp set.  I used Cajun Craze, Delightful Dijon and Early Expresso inks.  The leaves are stamped with Garden Green ink.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set.  I cut a small khaki rectangle with the same dies and stamped the sentiment with Crumb Cake ink.  Twine and round pearls were used to complete my card.

Please stop by and see all the fabulous cards by the Design Team.  There is so much inspiration!
