WOW! It is the LAST day of January! How did that happen?!?!? It seems we were just celebrating Christmas. I must admit, January is my least favorite month, so it is behind us now. I guess it always seems long and dreary after the holidays. We made it through the month without any bad weather, too. YIPPEE!
I am playing along with the SugarPea Designs sketch challenge and the Colour Me...! Color Challenge! I absolutely LOVE the vibrant, playful colors this week. --Island Indigo, Rich Razzleberry, Tangelo Twist, Daffodil Delight and a Neutral--
I am the biggest fan of ALL the stamps sets at SugarPea Designs. I hope you will enjoy my card!
We have seven February birthdays in our family, so I have someone special in mind to receive this card. This little penguin is so happy and he makes me smile! I paper pieced his little hat and used all the colors in my coloring with Copic Markers. The gingham paper was found in my stash. It if from a retired Stampin' Up Designer Series Paper called "Gingham Garden."
Wink of Stella adds a hint of sparkle to this little guy. Wouldn't you just love to receive this little fellow in your mailbox?
Thanks for stopping by and if you have time, please leave a comment and let me know what you think. I love to hear from you!

Until next time--

Get Well Soon--FMS171
January 30, 2015
It's Friday and I am so excited because my dear friend, Angel is coming to craft with me ALL weekend!!!!! YIPPEE! I am so looking forward to a fun and creative time with her. She always inspires me!
I made a speedy quick card for a friend that has been under the weather.
I love the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches this week. It is a fantastic sketch to use on any card.
In keeping with using some things that I have, I pulled out an old paper pad from My Mind's Eye for my patterned papers. I used a Lawn Fawn stamp, On The Mend" that I bought a year ago and never inked. I hope you will enjoy my card.
I cut a slit in the top of the tissue box and added a kleenex for fun!

Happy New Baby-PPA237
January 25, 2015
It is a sunny day in GA. You can't ask for much more than that in January. It is a little chilly, but so happy to see the sun shining!
We are off to the airport in Atl. in a few minutes to pick up our dear friends coming to visit from Chicago. I know they will think it is warm here.
I ran into my craft room this morning to make a card for the Pals Paper Arts Challenge. It was a fun sketch this week and I just had to play along.
I always need a baby card to send to new Grand parents or couples having new additions to their families, so I made a generic baby card. You can never go wrong with a rubber duckie and yellow and blue. It seems the trend is to not find out what the baby is now, so this card will work for either sex.
I am on a quest to use things that I have been hoarding. I love the Flower Pot Designer Series Paper and everyone that knows me, knows I adore polka dots!
Night of Navy is the perfect accent color for Crushed Curry!
I wanted to leave the rubber duckie white to draw your eye to him. I just added a little orange on his peak and wings to accent him. Pearls make everything better! I hope it doesn't look to girly this way!
If you have any questions on my card, please contact me at:Claire.
Leave a comment if you can! I love to hear from you!
Have a SUPER SUNDAY!
