Happy Birthday With Sprinkles on Top-SSC81-Merry Monday

July 28, 2014

Today is a special day for several reasons!  I just returned home from Atlanta.  I visited my new GRANDson, Robert Joseph in NICU.  He so adorable!  He continues to get a little stronger each day and I hope he will be able to go home soon.  It is amazing to hold a tiny baby.  It really does make you realize how important it is to cherish every moment.

Then in the afternoon I took Miss Addison school shopping.  We had such a FUN day!!!  She is so funny and going through Target with a 5 year old (girl) is a whole different experience.  I don't think I have ever spent 2 hours in Target at one time.  We had to look at everything!!  We did buy some essentials for school, and then in a weak moment, I gave in to the pink, "Princess" Cowgirl boots.  Oh well, you only live once!  She was so thrilled with her new treasure!  I am not sure her Mommy was, and I doubt her teacher will be either----but that's what Grammy's are for!!  RIGHT?!?!?!?  Look out Kindergarten, she is coming on Monday!

Now, my third reason today is special is because today is LeAnne Pugliese's birthday!  It is a BANNER DAY!  LeAnne is a talented card maker that I have followed for two years and I finally met her at Convention.  She is a lovely, creative and kind person and I wish I could see her more often!  She has encouraged me through lovely comments and sweet emails.  Wishing you a FANTASTIC Birthday, LeAnne!

The Merry Monday Challenge is hosting a Anything Goes Birthday challenge to celebrate LeAnne!  I just had to play along.

I am also playing along with the Sunday Stamps Challenge.  The colors Strawberry Slush, Pink Pirouette and Very Vanilla were perfect for my card.

I had so much fun making this card!  I hope you enjoy it, too!

So Many Smiles---PP206

July 27, 2014

This week the lovely, Ann is our hostess at The Paper Players.  It is such a great sketch and can be used for any type of card.  Please play along with us.  We would love to see your creations!

I turned the sketch the other direction because I really wanted to feature the "Snapshot" Stamp that I received at convention.  I just love this camera and anyone that knows me well, always sees me snapping pictures!  I hope you will enjoy my card!
