My card is created on a white card base.   It was so easy to create.  I needed a birthday card for a little 3 year old that loves Mickey and Minnie.  I found a Micky Mouse Paper pack at Tuesday Morning.  WIN-WIN!  I cut the polka dot paper for the background.  One of the pieces of papers had these three images all over the paper.  I used a circle die to cut them out.  I used some words that were on one sheet for the sentiment. Mickey always says, "Aw, Shucks"!  A few yellow enamel dots completed the card.

THANKS Paper Players Challenge PP496

June 21, 2020

It's Father's Day and I hope all the Dads, Fathers and Daddies have a very special day!  Always a little tug in my heart today thinking of my Daddy.  I miss him so much!  He was a very special man!

It's time for a new challenge at  The Paper Players!
This week the multi talented Joanne is our hostess.  She has a Clean and Simple Challenge for all of us!  "Thanks" is the theme.  You can never have too many thank you notes in your stash!

REMEMBER THIS IS CLEAN AND SIMPLE WEEK

What do we mean by Clean and Simple?

Minimal layers and embellishments
Plenty of open space, aka "white" space
Simple and uncluttered

My card is created with a retired die from MFT.  I trimmed the turquoise polka dot paper with the "THANKS" die.  I added a strip of red paper behind the word and the dots.  The little girl is from MFT Blowing a Kiss stamp set.  I colored her with Copic Markers, paper pieced her dress and cut her out with the matching die.  I punched out a few red hearts to add to my card.  Since it is CAS, I stopped before I got carried away with embellishments.  LOL!

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!

The lovely Laurie is our hostess this week and she has a fabulous color challenge for all of us!  We can't wait to see what you create!

I must admit, this color challenge was hard for me!  I kept thinking I should make a Christmas card.  I needed a thank you card, so I remembered I had this Basic Grey paper in my stash, so I cut a piece to add to the bottom of the card.  I trimmed the white panel with a scalloped border die.  The flowers are cut using Real Red and the leaves are cut using Tranquil Tide.  I used my favorite MFT dies Stitched Blooms.
