Coffee Possibly Vodka--PP380

February 11, 2018

It's time for another challenge at The Paper Players!

The lovely Laurie is our hostess this week and she has a fantastic color challenge for all of us!

I am also entering my card in the CAS-UAL Fridays
Challenge.  They are all about hearts this week!

I really love this color combo!  Red is my favorite color, so I am always happy when it is in a challenge.  The base card is Crumb Cake the the red scalloped layer is a darker red.  I just received this fabulous coffee set from Cas-ual Fridays.  It is called  Cup of Coffee.  I paper pieced the cup with red and white polka dots and colored the coffee with Copic Markers.  I used the matching Coffee Cup dies for the cup and the "coffee" sentiment.  I cut the word "coffee" four times with red and once with Crumb Cake.  The sentiment is stamped in black on the coffee cup.  The white stitched background is stamped with Stamping Bella Java Spills in Tea Dye distress ink.  I love the way this turned out and can't wait to send it to a special friend that loves coffee and vodka!  LOL!

Falala---#tttc028

December 14, 2017

It's time for a new challenge at the Tic Tac Toe Challenge!

We have a fantastic board for all of you!

We would love for you to take some inspiration from the challenge board above, using three elements in a row of your choice. Whatever row inspires you is what we challenge you to create! Don’t forget to link back to us, and to use our hashtags #tictactoechallenge and
#tttc028

My card is created using the top row:  Turquoise, Holiday, Sequins.

My card is created on a white card base.  I used the MFT Bold Stripes Cover Up die to cut out the turquoise background.  The fa la la sentiment was cut out using the Simon Says Stamp die on silver foil.  The rest of the sentiment was stamped in black using the Simon Says Stamp Fa La La stamp set.  The Santa is stamped on Neenah Solar White in Black Memento ink using the Stamping Bella Santa Is Stuck set.  I colored him with Copic Markers and cut him out using the matching dies.  Wink of Stella and silver sequins were added for shine.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, please pop over and see more inspiration from the rest of the Tic Tac Toe design team and I hope you have a chance to play along with us this week!

May Your Christmas Be Merry & Bright-- #tttc024

November 15, 2017

It's time for a new challenge at the Tic Tac Toe Challenge!

We have a fantastic board for all of you!

We would love for you to take some inspiration from the challenge board above, using three elements in a row of your choice. Whatever row inspires you is what we challenge you to create! Don’t forget to link back to us, and to use our hashtags #tictactoechallenge and #tttc024

I am playing with the first column: Angled, Die Cut and Greeting.

My card is created on a white card base.  I added a piece of gold foil for the background.  The angled foil is cut with a stitched rectangle die.  The main image is from Stamping Bella.  I stamped Rita and the Reindeer and colored it with Copic Markers.  The matching dies were used to cut the image out.  I added Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents for shine.  The angled strips were die cut using a scrap of gold and white foil that I found in my stash.  I embossed the sentiment with black embossing powder using the SugarPea Designs Merry Makers stamp set.  A few gold sequins were added for fun.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, please pop over and see more inspiration from the rest of the Tic Tac Toe design team and I hope you have a chance to play along with us this week!

Naughty or Nice? PP363

September 24, 2107

Happy Fall Y'all!  I can't believe that it is almost 90 degrees in the ATL!  I hope it is a little cooler where you live!

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players

The amazingly talented Nance is our hostess this week.  She has a fantastic sketch for all of us!  The possibilities are endless so, have fun and start creating!

My card is created on a white card base.  I added a piece of Christmas paper cut with a stitched rectangle die for my background.  I used two different scraps of white and gold patterned papers to create the other two layers.  The Christmas Gift A Bella stamp is used for this lovely lady.  She is colored with Copic Markers.  I used Marvy Snow for her fur and gold stickles were added to the gift.  Lots of Wink of Stella was added, too.  A few gold sequins were added for fun!  A white banner and gold foil frame were added for the sentiment.  She certainly is ready to celebrate the Christmas season!

Thankful For You--cQc #361--PPA320--JUG #362

September 29, 2016

I had time to play in the "tepee" today.  I love Fall and received a new stamp from Stamping Bella.  It was perfect for three challenges.  That never happens to me.

The color palette at Colour Q made me smile!  I love Tempting Turquoise.  One of my all time favorite colors.

Dawn's fantastic sketch Pals Paper Arts was perfect to showcase Fay.

Just Us Girls Challenge is all about Fall.  Check out all these challenges for lots of inspiration!

My card is created on a white card base.  The next layers is a piece of retired paper from Stampin' Up!  The stamp set is from Stamping Bella Fay Loves Fall.  I stamped Fay on Neenah Solar White paper and stamped the image in Momento Rich Mocha ink.  I colored her with Copic Markers.  I really am happy with the results.  Linen Thread, Wink of Stella and candy dots were added to complete my card.

THANKS SO MUCH for stopping by!

Give Thanks For All Things--FMS256-Addicted to Stamps #213 and More-The Heart Desires #4

September 28, 2016

I have been waiting for the perfect sketch for this new stamp set.  The Freshly Made Sketches team posted a new challenge and it was just what I was looking for.

I am also linking my card to the Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge.  They are celebrating "HOLIDAYS."  My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving!  It is a day of family, food and
football. (for some)  LOL!

I also found a new challenge to me The Heart Desires.  It has a variety of way to play along.  There is a sunflower in my cornucopia and the colors are all used in my coloring.

My card is created on Crumb Cake card stock.  The top layer is from my paper stash.  I know this is a retired SU paper.  I cut it using the Lawn Fawn Stitched Party Banners. The main image is from the Stamping Bella-Casey Has A Cornucopia.  I must admit, this took a LONGGGG time to color.  I love the results, but I don't think I will be making many cards with her.  LOL!  I used Copic markers and added Wink of Stella to give her some shine.  The sentiment is stamped in Versa Fine Cocoa ink.  Enamel dots and linen thread were added to complete my card.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today.
