So Very Grateful The Paper Players Challenge PP664 Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC321

 October 29, 2023

It's Sunday and time for new challenges at The Paper Players and Sunday Stamps

I am the hostess this week at The Paper Players.  My Tic Tac Toe Board is so versatile and gives you the opportunity to get creative!   Have fun and show us some great designs!

This fantastic Color Challenge at Sunday Stamps  is perfect for all types of cards !  So many possibilities with this one!  I love this bright, happy color palette!

ap
My card is created with a Bermuda Bay background.  I embossed the panel with a subtle embossing folder.  It adds so much textured.  I wrapped the panel with twine to add more texture.  I used a piece of watercolored paper and smooshed it with two colors of Distress ink and water.  It made a red/orange/yellow look.  I used the Oak Leaf stamp and die set from Neat & Tangled.  I stamped the panel with Versa Fine ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.  I then cut the leaves out with the die and cut two more leaves with Bermuda Bay for a background.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set.  I added orange enamel dots to complete my card.

My card is created for my precious Robert's 3rd birthday.  I always call him my little pirate.  I used a white card base and found a piece of red and white striped paper in my stash for the background.  Black card stock stripes were cut to place on top of the stripes.  I added a white circle cut with SugarPea Designs Zig Zag Stitched Circle dies and embossed it with a striped embossing folder.  Then I cut an open banner for a frame using SU banner dies.  My little pirate and parrot are from My Favorite Things Party Like A Pirate stamp set and cut out with the matching dies.  I colored them with Copic markers and added Wink of Stella for shine.  The sentiment is from the same set and heat embossed in white powder.  A few enamel dots were added for fun.

Deepest Sympathy--PP333 and SSC147

February 26, 2017

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players and Sunday Stamps!!

It is very rare that I can incorporate both challenges in one post, but this week it was a WIN, WIN!

Our lovely LeAnne is the hostess this week at
The Paper Players!   Her sketch is so fun and there are so many ways to interrupt it.  The colors at Sunday Stamps are so pretty.  Please use a minimum of 3 of the colors for your card.  We can't wait to see what you create!

My card is created on a white card base.  A Tangerine Tango background was cut using the MFT Blueprints 20 die.  The top white layer is cut using the same die set.  The flowers are stamped on Tangerine Tango and Bermuda Bay card stock using the Freestyle Florals  by Mama Elephant.  The leaves were stamped on Old Olive card stock.  The matching dies were used to cut out the flowers and leaves.  Wink of Stella and black enamel dots were added in the center of each flower.  The sentiment is stamped in black Memento ink.  After I took my photos, I realized my sentiment was in the wrong place.  :(((

I asked LeAnne to forgive me!  I am leaving to go to Indiana to visit my family and didn't have time to make another card.

Don't forget to check out the fabulous inspirations from both  design teams and I hope that you will play along with our challenges this week.

I am also entering my card in the Freshly Made Sketches challenge!  Their sketch was just perfect for my card this week!

My card is created on a square white card base.  I cut textured green card stock using the Lawn Fawn Meadow borders.  The top section of the card is covered with card stock that is covered with clouds.  The white rectangle is cut with a Simon Says Stamps  rectangle stitched die.  I inked the borders with distress ink.  The little toucans from Clearly Besotted Some Birdie Loves You were stamped on Neenah Solar White paper and colored with Copic Markers.  The matching dies were used to cut the toucans out.

I used a "love" die from Stampin' Up and cut it out in orange four times and once in red to make it pop.  Wink of Stella was added on the sentiment and toucans for shine.  I also stamped two heart from the stamp set and colored them with Copics.
