Happy Spring-- FMS 329

March 25, 2018

I loved Kim's sketch at Freshly Made Sketches!  I had some extra time on this rainy day, so I played along.

My card is created on a white card base.  I also cut another white layer and added it to my card with dimensionals.  The watercolored background is created with distress inks using the smooching method.  Water was added to form the droplets.  The butterfly stamp is from StampingBella.  Babette is colored with Copic Markers and I then I cut her out using my new Scan N Cut!  I love this machine!  I added lots of Wink of Stella on her body.  The sentiment is stamped on a black banner and heat embossed with white embossing powder.  The stamp is from SugarPea Designs Egg-A-Licious stamp set.  A few sparkling clear sequins were added for fun!

Thanks for stopping by my blog tonight!

Have a great week!

Merry Christmas--FMS311

November 3, 2017

Today I am playing along with the Freshly Made Sketches challenge.  Jen B. is the hostess and her sketch is really fun!  I know I will be using this sketch again.  So many ideas for it.

My card is created on a white card base.  I used a green and white chevron paper mounted on black for my background. I added a white rectangle to follow the sketch.  I used the Stamping Bella Tina Trims the Tree stamp set and dies for my image.  I colored her with Copic Markers.  Wink of Stella, Rhinestones and Stickles were added for shine.  I few little gifts were added for the circle element on the sketch.   The sentiment is stamped in black using the Stamps of Life Santa2 set.  Doesn't she make you want to trim the tree?

Thank you for stopping by my blog today!  I hope you have a great weekend!

Happiness Is Coming--FMS273

February 5, 2017

It's Super Bowl Sunday.  Most people are probably at parties, but I am in my craft room.  I am not a huge football fan, but since I live in Atlanta, I will "RISE UP" and watch the game and cheer for the Falcons!  SO proud for our city!  It is a huge accomplishment and so many people are having fun!  That makes me smile!

Today I am playing along with the Freshly Made Sketches challenge.  I was excited about the sketch.  I had a very special card to make and it was perfect for the idea I had in mind.

A very special friend is expecting a little girl.  She has been a wonderful inspiration to me.   I wanted her to know that I am praying for her and I am "THINKING PINK"!!!!!

My card base is white.  I cut a pink rectangle and a white rectangle using SSS stitched Rectangle dies.  I used a piece of watercolor paper and watercolored some different shades of pink.  I mixed several shades of red and pink together to get the three tones.  I cut them using the MFT Wonky Stitched Rectangle dies.  The pregnant girl is from Stampingbella-Baby Carriage.  I colored her with Copic markers and used the matching die to cut her out.  Wink of Stella and a few clear sparkling sequins were added.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set.

SO happy you stopped by my blog today!

My son and his girlfriend are expecting a new baby in November.  I made this card for her.  I will be taking it to the baby shower.  The stamp set is from Stampingbella-BabyCarriageABella stamp set and dies.  I added a piece of coral checkerboard paper I found in my stash.  Aqua checks and flowered papers were added.  A black circle was cut using the Zig Zag Stitched Circle Dies by SugarPea Designs.  I used Copic Markers to color the image.  Wink of Stella and clear sparkling sequins were added for fun!

Thank you very much for stopping by my blog today!  I love to hear from you, so please leave a comment!
