So Very Grateful The Paper Players Challenge PP664 Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC321

It's Sunday and time for new challenges at The Paper Players and Sunday Stamps.  

I am the hostess this week at The Paper Players.  My Tic Tac Toe Board is so versatile and gives you the opportunity to get creative!   Have fun and show us some great designs!

This fantastic Color Challenge at Sunday Stamps  is perfect for all types of cards !  So many possibilities with this one!  I love this bright, happy color palette!

My card is created with a Bermuda Bay background.  I embossed the panel with a subtle embossing folder.  It adds so much textured.  I wrapped the panel with twine to add more texture.  I used a piece of watercolored paper and smooshed it with two colors of Distress ink and water.  It made a red/orange/yellow look.  I used the Oak Leaf stamp and die set from Neat & Tangled.  I stamped the panel with Versa Fine ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.  I then cut the leaves out with the die and cut two more leaves with Bermuda Bay for a background.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set.  I added orange enamel dots to complete my card.

Witches Gotta Stick Together The Paper Players Challenge PP663

October 22, 2023 

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at  The Paper Players.  

The fabulous Jaydee is our hostess this week and she has a fun Sketch Challenge for all of us!  This sketch is so versatile!  You can use it for any occasion.  So get creative and show us your ideas. 





My card is created on a white card base.  I added a piece of striped Halloween paper that I found in my stash.  Then I added a panel of black paper to match the sketch.  The white panel was sponged to create a spooky look for the sentiment.  I stamped the witch's shoes and fussy cut them.  They were colored with Copic Markers.  I added enamel dots and Wink of Stella for shine!

Thankful For You The Paper Players Challenge PP662

October 15, 2023  

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.  

The amazing Joanne is our hostess this week and she has a fabulous Clean and Simple Challenge for all of us!   The theme is "Signs of Fall"!  Oh, there are so many possibilities with this one.  Have fun and remember to keep it CAS! 




I added a Real Red base to my white card front.  I added a white panel that I dry embossed with an embossing folder.  The leaves are from a retired Stampin Up set "Vintage Leaves"  that I have had for years.  I love this set and still use it every year.  The leaves were stamped in Real Red, More Mustard  and Pumpkin Pie Inks.  I added a sentiment in brown ink.  Then I added a twine bow to complete my card.

You Are Purr-Fect! Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC 320

It's time for a new challenge at Sunday Stamps. 

Amy created this fabulous Sketch Challenge for all of us.  This sketch is so versatile and there are so many ways you can use it.  Have fun! 



My sister loves cats so, this card is for her.  I found the coordinating paper in my stash.  I added the flowers to the top layer of the card base.  Then I mounted the cat heads on black card stock.  The little black cat is stamped using the Gina K Cordial Cats Stamp Set.  I used the matching Die to cut out the black cat.  The sentiment is stamped in black.  I added a few black enamel dots to complete my card.

Let's Be Frank The Paper Players Challenge PP661

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.  

The amazing LeAnne is our hostess this week and she has a fabulous Color Challenge for all of us!   Although these colors might make you think of Halloween, get creative and show us some fun projects with these colors! 




I covered my card base with black glitter paper.   The Frank is from Simon Says Stamp Oh Frank stamp and die set.  I colored his face with Copic Markers.  The sign was creating using a sentiment from the same stamp set.  I mounted the sign on the Highland Heather card stock.  I added 3 orange enamel dots to complete my card.  This one is for my grandson.

In All Things Give Thanks Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC319

It's time for a new challenge at Sunday Stamps. 

We have a gorgeous Fall color challenge for all of you! 

We can't wait to see your creations!  



I covered my white card base with a yellow panel.  The leaves were cut on water colored paper using  a cover plate that I had in my stash.  I used Cherry Cobbler and Basic Gray inks to distress the panel using  a sponge.  I love the way this came out using these two shades.  The sentiment is stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink.  I added gray enamel dots to finish my card.

The Paper Players Challenge PP660

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.  

The amazing Ann is the hostess this week and she has an amazing Theme Challenge for all of us!  "Lost in Space" is a great way to let your imagination take flight!  So many ways to go with this one!  Have fun and get creative! 



I have been stamping for years and have a huge collection of stamps but, I didn't own one stamp set that has a space theme.  So, I got creative and decided to make a background and sun using water colored paper and distress inks.  Sprinkling water on them made them look more realistic. I found these stickers from my scrapbooking days and decided they would work on my card.  The stickers are from Creative Memories.  I mounted them on the blue paper and fussy cut them.  The stars are stickers, too!  I didn't add a sentiment because I haven't decided who I will send this one to.
