Adventure is Out There! Let's Explore! Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC262

July 25, 2021

It's time for a new challenge at Sunday Stamps!

We have an amazing sketch by Melissa.  I love this sketch because it is so versatile and you can make any type of card with  it!  So have fun and get creative!

My card is created on a white card base.  I used a tropical plant patterned paper for my background.  I added the two rectangle strips using a matching stripe.  A Bermuda Bay starburst was cut using a die by SU.  The elephant and sentiment are stickers that are from a safari kit I bought.  It was such an easy card to create.

SWEET Tic Tac Toe Challenge

 July 22, 2021

It's time for a new challenge at the Tic Tac Toe Challenge!

We hope you will play along with our new board!

My card is created using the bottom row:  Violet, Berries, Alphabet stamps.

My card is created on a white card base.  I dug through a bunch of patterned paper and found this piece with  little strawberries on it.  I knew it was perfect for the challenge.  I paired some violet checks on top for the two strips.  I used the Concord & 9th Sweet Strawberries stamp set for the berries and stems.  The matching dies were used to cut them out.  I found this "sweet" alphabet stamp die and decided it worked for my sentiment.   A few white enamel dots were added to complete my card.

Please stop by and see all the fabulous cards by the Design Team.  There is so much inspiration!

We hope you will play along with us this week!

Just Bee-Cause Paper Players Challenge PP 550

July 18, 2021

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players

The Lovely LeAnne is our hostess this week and she has a fun Clean and Simple Challenge for all of us!  The theme is "Bees"!  You must have a bee on your card.  So get creative and show us all your "BEES"!

  • minimal layers
  • little to no embellishments
  • lots of clean white space (minimal pattern)

  • My card is created on a white card base.  I added a black circle frame behind a yellow circle that I embossed with a honeycomb embossing folder for my focal point.  The little bees and the stamped trails are from the Simon Says Stamp Bee Yourself stamp set.  I colored the bees with Copic Markers and added Glossy Accents on the wings and glasses.  The stamped sentiment is from the same stamp set.  It is stamped on a white circle and I colored the letters with a yellow marker.

    Hi! Paper Players Challenge PP549

     July 11, 2021

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players

The amazing Ann is our hostess this week and she has a gorgeous color palette for all of us!  I just love these colors together!!!!  So many possibilities!  We can't wait to see all your creations!  Have fun!

My card is created on a white card base.  I added a panel of Just Jade trimmed with a scallop die.  I embossed it with an embossing folder in my stash.  I then added some SU patterned paper to create the top panel.  I used all three colors to create the circles with a die that I found in a box.  I have never used it and don't even remember buying it.  My neutral color is white.  I added a white twine bow to complete my card.  I love this color combo!  I will be using it again!
