Praying for You The Paper Players Challenge PP784

May 3, 2026

It's Sunday and time for new challenges at The Paper Players.

The multi-talented Jaydee is our hostess this week and she has a Theme Challenge that is a favorite of mine.  "Feminine" is so easy for me.  I love all things girly.  Pink, Pearls, Polka Dots, Bows and on and on.  So, show us your take on our theme with all your amazing creations.

I had to go with pink on my card.  I started with a pink card base. I cut a white scalloped panel and stamped it with pink ink using the retired Stampin Up set Calming Camellias.  I love this set and will keep it in my stash.  I covered the panel with stamped camellia's. I cut a white, scalloped, lacy circle and stamped another camellia on it.  The sentiment was added on a scalloped white rectangle.  Of course, I had to add a bow and pearls.  I think this is about as feminine as it can get.

Just A Card To Say Hello Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC385

 May 3, 2026

It's time for a new challenge at Sunday Stamps

The talented Heather created this fabulous sketch for all of us.  So many options with this one.  Have fun and get creative!

I added a Night of Navy background panel to my card base.  Then I added a layer of Stampin Up Mediterranean Blooms DSP.  I love this paper!  I keep hoarding a few pieces of it.  I stamped and colored the lemons with Copic Markers using the Simon Says Stamp You Shine- Lemonade stamp set.  It is retired.  I added a banner using the same DSP.  A sentiment and a few enamel dots completed my card.

Thanks So Very Much The Paper Players PP783

 April 26, 2026

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

The sensational Stef is our hostess this week and she has a fantastic sketch challenge for all of us.  You can make any type of card you need in your stash with this one.  So have fun and get creative!

I needed a special thank you card for a dear friend and I found this fabulous paper in my stash.  I used the background sheet and the swirl on the opposite side for my border.  The feather was heat embossed in white powder using the stamp set Inked Well from The Greetery and I used the matching Dies.  The ink well and quill are from the same set.  I haven't used this set often, but I think it needs more love.  The sentiment was stamped four times and stacked for dimension.  It is also from The Greetery  Scripted Sentiments and the matching Dies were used.  The "so very much" is from the same set and stamped on the card.  I added three black enamel dots to complete my card.
