Friends Are Like Seashells--- Paper Players Challenge PP552

August 1, 2021

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!

The amazing Joanne is our hostess this week and she has such a fun theme challenge for all of us!  "Beside the Seaside" is one of my favorite places to be.  We can't wait to see all your creations!

My card is created on a white card base.  I added a Night of Navy background on my card front.  I used copper foil and embossed it with the Stampin' Up! Seashells folder.  The starfish and sanddollar were stamped on vellum using the SU Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set.  I heat embossed the vellum with Versa Fine ink and copper embossing powder.  I fussy cut the items and added them on top of the foil  I used the stamp stamp set for the sentiment.  Opal Rounds and twine were used to complete my card.

I Miss You Paper Players Challenge PP551

July 25, 2021

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!

The amazing Ann is our hostess this week and she has a fabulous sketch for all of us.  It is such a versatile sketch!  Have fun!  We can't wait to see your creations!

My card is created on a white card base.  I used a floral piece of patterned paper and cut it with a scalloped die for the background.  Three pink and white striped rectangles were cut for the next layer.  I white rectangle sponged on the edges with pink ink was cut for the top layer.  The flower is stamped using the Stampin' Up set Art Gallery.  The sentiment is from the same set.  I added Opal Rounds to complete my card.

Adventure is Out There! Let's Explore! Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC262

July 25, 2021

It's time for a new challenge at Sunday Stamps!

We have an amazing sketch by Melissa.  I love this sketch because it is so versatile and you can make any type of card with  it!  So have fun and get creative!

My card is created on a white card base.  I used a tropical plant patterned paper for my background.  I added the two rectangle strips using a matching stripe.  A Bermuda Bay starburst was cut using a die by SU.  The elephant and sentiment are stickers that are from a safari kit I bought.  It was such an easy card to create.
