You Make Me Smile From Ear to Ear Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC331

 March 17, 2024

Happy St. Patrick's Day!  We are all a little bit Irish today!

It's time for a new challenge at Sunday Stamps

We have a beautiful color challenge for all of you!  Have fun and get creative.  This is a gorgeous combo for Spring.

I used a sun ray cover die to create my background,  I cut it once with Crisp Khaki and once with yellow card stock.  I pieced the yellow pieces in the frame.  The little bunny, eggs and egg tree were created using the My Favorite Things Easter Bunny stamp and die set.  This set is retired now, but I love it so, I will keep it in my stash.  I colored the items with Copic Markers.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set.  I added two enamel dots to complete my card.

Good Luck The Paper Players Challenge PP681

 March 17, 2024

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

The amazing Joanne is our hostess this week!  She has a fun Clean and Simple Challenge for all of you!  The theme is Good Luck!  Get creative and show us your ideas.

Remember, this is a CLEAN and SIMPLE challenge.  When The Paper Players use the term “clean and simple”, we mean cards that:

Have minimal layers and embellishments
Have plenty of open space
Are simple and uncluttered

My card is created on a white card base.  I added a green and white background and then I added a white panel embossed with a fun embossing folder from my stash.  The flowers, envelope and bow are all from Pink Fresh Studio.  The stamp set is called Floral Envelope Stamp.  I sponged the envelope with distress ink and colored the flowers with Copic Markers.  I cut the bow out of green and white polka dots.  I used the matching dies to cut out all three items.  I had to search all of my stamp sets to find the words Good Luck.  I can't believe I only had one and I know I own hundreds of sets.  I did not add any embellishments since it is CAS week.  That is always difficult for me.

Beautiful Inside & Out The Paper Players PP680

March 10, 2024

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

The amazing Jaydee is our hostess this week and she has a gorgeous Color Challenge for all of us!  I can not begin to express how much I love these bright colors together and black and white always make such a statement.  So have fun and get creative!

I had a lot of ideas for this challenge, but after looking through a lot of my stamps, I decided to use these wacky flowers.  This set is from My Favorite Things and it is called Doddled Blooms.  It is retired now.  I stamped the flowers  in black ink and colored them with Copic Markers.  I used the matching dies to cut them out.  I used a cover plate to cut the black frame for the flowers.  I cut the sentiment with a Beautiful Die from Simon Says Stamp.  I heat embossed the words in white embossing powder.  I added green enamel dots to complete my card.  I love the way this turned out.
