Thinking of You The Paper Players Challenge PP791

 June 21, 2026

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to all the daddy's out there.  I sure do miss my Daddy.

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

The fabulous Jan is our hostess this week and she has a fun Clean and Simple challenge for all of us.  She added the theme of "weather."  There certainly has been some crazy weather lately in the U.S.  There are so many types of weather and I hope you get creative and have fun creating your card.  Don't forget to keep it CAS!

I created a square card this week.   My card base is cut 5 x 5.  I cut another square of water color paper and swooshed Iced Spruce distress ink and water to create the background.  I used a Simon Says Stamp Set called Follow the Rainbows.  I stamped the girl in black in and added a sentiment from the same stamp set.  I did not add any embellishments.  That is hard for me, but I needed to keep it clean and simple.

June  14, 2026

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

The creative Christy is our hostess this week and she has a very fun color challenge for all of us.  I love to mix and match bright colors so, I had a blast creating my card.   I can't wait to see what you create!

I just love all these bright, happy colors.  I received the new Spellbinders May 2026 Large die of the month.  It was a labor of love to cut all the pieces for sure.  I did enjoy seeing it all come together.  Especially the parrot.  He made me smile.  I embossed the Coastal Cabana background with a flower embossing folder.  The sentiment is from a retired MFT stamp set.

Heartfelt Thanks Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC388

 June 14, 2026

It's time for a new challenge at Sunday Stamps

Our sketch is by the wonderful Lisa.  It is an easy one to use and you can make any type of card.  So get creative and show us your projects.

My card base is SU Old Olive.  The DSP is from Stampin Up, too.  It is called Forever Greenery.  It is retired now.  I really love this paper pack.  I cut rectangles for the sketch and backed them with Old Olive.  I added a few gold sequins.  I added the twine bow and realize now that it wasn't tied when I took the picture.  I already mailed it out so, I couldn't fix it and take a new picture.  LOL
