For Your Birthday Inspired By 96

October 31, 2019

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!!!  I hope you have a very fun and special day!  Enjoy the joy that children find on this holiday!

It's time for a new challenge at Inspired By!

How does this photo inspire you?  Is it the jars, the colors, the cotton, the pumpkins, the twine, the theme, the trio?  We can't wait to see what you create!

My card is created on a white card base.  The top panel is created on Kraft paper.  I cut it out with a stitched rectangle die and embossed it with a cable embossing folder.  The Mason jar is from The Greetery Just Mason Around stamp set.  I cut it out using the matching die.  The cotton is stamped with The Greetery Cotton Comforts stamp set and cut out with the matching die.  I added twine to the top of the jar.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set.

It's Sunday and you know what that means!  It's time for a new challenge at  The Paper Players!

The amazing Ann is our hostess this week!  She has a FABULOUS sketch for all of us!  I love sketch challenges and I promise this one will be used again.  It is a keeper!

I found this fun Fall paper in my stash.  I love the circles with all the symbols of Fall.  I added a dark brown frame around the embossed Kraft square for my background.  The little squirrel and sentiment are from SugarPea Designs
Nuts About You.  I colored the squirrel with Copic Markers and fussy cut him.  Wink of Stella was added for shine.

October 26, 2019

Good Morning Everyone...
We have a great sponsor joining us again this week:

https://www.etsy.com/shop/alldressedupstamps

All Dressed Up has generously offered 2 digital stamps of the winner's choice.

 Here is sketch #587

My card is created on a 5 X 5 white square card.  I added two different Fall papers to the front of the card.  I stamped the leaves and sentiment to create the elements in the sketch using the Lovely Leaves stamp set from SugarPea Designs.   I moved the sentiment though.  I liked the way it looked on the rectangle.  I hope Tania is ok with that.  :)

Thank you for stopping by my blog today!  We sure hope you will join us this week with your wonderful creations!  Don't forget to stop by all the DT blogs for lots of inspiration!

Joy Keeping Christmas

October 25, 2019

This year is flying by and believe it or not, Christmas is 2 months away!  I can tell you, I am NOT ready! Actually, this makes me very anxious.  I wish time would slow down!  So much to do with Thanksgiving and Christmas so close together, but it will all get done!  It always does.  LOL!

It's time for this month's installment of the Keeping Christmas Inspriration Blog Hop!  The Challenge Design Team is sharing Christmas creations on the 25th of each month!

The whole idea is to have some Christmas cards and projects in your stash ready to go for December 2019!

So hop along and be sure to visit each blog.
There is a lot of inspiration and ideas to get your creative juices flowing!

My cards are both created on white card bases.  I used YUPO paper to create the alcohol ink backgrounds.  I love making these.  I just squirt on different colors and make them in sets of 4 or 5.  Then, I have them on hand when I want to use one on a card.  I do add alcohol blending solution to the inks to help them spread easier.  I let mine air dry.  I think the color remains more vibrant that way.

The wreaths are cut using the Simon Says Stamp Wreath Ring Wafer Die. I used silver glimmer  paper and then I pieced all the circles back in the wreath.  I love the way it shines.  My pictures are not the best because of the reflection.

I cut the "joy" sentiment four times with black card stock and glued them together.  Then I cut it out in silver glimmer and added it on top of the black sentiments. This adds lots of dimension to the sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by!  Leave a comment and let me know your thoughts.  I love to hear from you!  Do you have a favorite?

The hop is hosted by the fabulous Kelly Lunceford's blog, so head over there to start from the beginning.

ENJOY the blog hop!  I hope we inspired you to make a few cards, too!

Witching You A Happy Halloween Inspired By Challenge 95

 October 17, 2019

It's time for a new challenge at Inspired By!

I LOVE Halloween!  It is such a fun holiday!  It is the one day that we can dress up and be anything we want to be!  There are always so many fun decorations and wonderful parties.  And, OHHHHH the candy that is consumed is unreal!

What inspires you about this photo?  The colors, the theme, the Halloween items, the bold stripes?  We can't wait to see what you create!

My card is created on a purple card base.  I used a postage die to cut a layer of black.  I used strip of different Halloween papers and glued them on a piece of white card stock.  Then I cut the whole panel with another die from the postage die set.  This looks like the table runner in the inspiration photo.  I added a vellum square and then cut a black witch using the Flying Witch Die by Impression Obsession.  The sentiment is from MFT Best Witches stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.  Check out all the inspiration from the Design Team.  We sure hope you will play along with us this week!

There Is No Time More Fitting To Say Thank You! PP464

October 20, 2019

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!

The Lovely LeAnne is our hostess this week and she has a fabulous Clean and Simple Challenge for all of us.  Say It "LOUD" is the theme.  Use a sentiment as the focal point.  WOW--so many possibilities.
Remember, for clean-and-simple, you need to keep your layers and embellishments to a minimum!

My card is created on a white card base.  I cut a scalloped layer and used Distress inks and a blending tool to create the background.  I used Peacock Feather  and Twisted Citron Inks.  The sentiment is heat embossed in gold using the Simon Says Stamp Thankful Heart stamp set.  I added a few gold sequins.  You know CAS is difficult for me.  Every card needs "alittle" bling!

Happy Fall Inspired By Challenge 94

October 17, 2019

It's time for a new challenge at Inspired By!

Don't you just love Fall?  Such a fabulous time of the year!  The cooler weather, the festivals, the decorations, Halloween and Thanksgiving, too!   SO much to celebrate!

What inspires you about this photo?  Is it the theme, the pumpkins, the colors, the shapes, the plaid, the circles, the patterns?  We can't wait to see what you create!

My card is created on a dark brown card base.  I cut a Smokey Slate scalloped panel and a wood grained layer with dies.  The large orange pumpkin is cut using the Honey Bee Designs Fall Bouquet die set.    The small pumpkins are cut using different patterned papers using the SugarPea Designs Stitched Autumn Icons die set.  I added flowers and leaves from the Honey Bee Fall Bouquet set.  I sponged the leaves and pumpkins with Tea Dye Distress ink to add more dimension.  The "Fall" sentiment is cut using the Honey Bee Designs Fall die.  I used two of the same patterned papers and the wood grain to create this fabulous sentiment.  I added twine bows to the pumpkins.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.  Check out all the inspiration from the Design Team.  We sure hope you will play along with us this week!
