Happiest of Birthdays To You! Paper Players PP484

March 29, 2020

It's time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!

I hope all of you are staying home and your families are healthy.  This is such a difficult time for all of us.  I am praying for an end to this horrible virus.  Sending love and virtual hugs to all of you!

The amazing Joanne is our hostess this week.  Since it is the fifth week of the month, we are going to play Tic Tac Toe.  I love when we have an extra week and we get to play TTT.  It always amazes me the amount of creativity that comes out of the board.

My card is created using the right column?  Patterned Paper, Birthday and Flowers

My card is created on a white card base.  I smooshed a watercolor background using Distress inks.  I used my favorite dies by MFT Stitched Blooms for the flowers and leaves.  I used lots of plaid papers by Lawn Fawn to create the wide variety of petals and leaves.  The sentiment is stamped in black.  I added a few sparkling clear sequins to complete my card.

Kelly Lunceford (Creator)  On break

My cards are created on white card bases.  On one of the cards I added a turquoise layer and on the other one a green layer.  The background on both is created using the MFT Christmas Background Stamp.  I stamped it with red ink.  I love all those Christmas words.  The snow is created using the Drifting Die by The Greetery.  The  circle was cut in green and turquoise using the MFT Merry Christmas Circle Frame Die.  The Santa is from the SugarPea Designs Here Comes Santa Claus stamp set.  I colored the Santa's with Copic Markers and added Wink of Stella for shine.  I cut the Santa's out using the matching dies.  A few enamel dots were added to complete my cards.  These were fun to make and could be mass produced in lots of colors.

Thanks for stopping by!  Leave a comment and let me know your thoughts.  I love to hear from you!  Do you have a favorite?

The hop is hosted by the fabulous Kelly Lunceford's blog, so head over there to start from the beginning.

Spring Inspired By Challenge 116

March 19, 2020

It's Thursday and we have a new challenge at Inspired By!

Spring begins this weekend!  I am so ready for longer, warmer days.  I love seeing all the beautiful flowers and trees in bloom!

How does this picture inspire you?  Is it the theme, the flowers, the letters?  We can't wait to see what you create!

My card is created on a white card base.  I cut a pink frame using a border die.  The rectangle inside the frame is watercolor paper that I smooshed with Mustard Seed Distress Ink and water.  The bunnies and flowers are cut with dies in the new March Spellbinders Small Dies of the Month Club dies.  The word Spring is stamped in black ink.  I did think it was a little dark, but I decided not redo it.  At least, you can see it on the bright yellow background.  I added a few sparkling clear sequins to complete my card.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.  Check out all the inspiration from the Design Team.  We sure hope you will play along with us this week!
