You Are Seriously The Best Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC359

 April 27, 2025

It's time for a new challenge at Sunday Stamps

Heather created this fun sketch for all of us!  So many ways to use this sketch and you can create any type of card.  So have fun and get creative!

This card came together very fast.  I used all Stampin Up products.

I used Early Expresso card stock and the Mini Corrugated 3 D embossing folder for the background.  The next panel is backed in black and I used the Botanical Textures DSP, stamp set and dies to complete the rest of the card.  I added a few neutral matte dots and some twine for fun.  This set is perfect to create masculine cards.

Special Delivery The Paper Players Challenge PP735

 April 27, 2025

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

I am the hostess this week and I created this simple sketch for all of you!  The best part is, you can make any type of card you want!  I love layers and this fills my need for more!  LOL!  Have fun and get creative!

I was looking through my stamps and came across this set called Special Delivery by Casual Fridays.  They are no longer in business but, I will keep this set in my stash.  I choose some matching papers in my stash and followed the sketch to create the background.  I used a postage die to cut the flowered panel.  The flowers, post and mailbox were colored with Copic Markers.  I added Glossy Accents on the hearts.  A few pearls for flower centers and on the card completed this fun card.  Made with love for a special friend that loves, polka dots, gingham checks and pearls!  Hope she loves it!

Mr. Rabbit The Paper Players Challenge PP734

 April 20, 2025

HAPPY EASTER to all of you that celebrate.  May your day be filled with special moments!

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

The amazing Elizabeth is our hostess this week and she has a fun Clean and Simple Challenge for all of us.  I love bunnies and I can't wait to see all the different ones you share this week.  Just remember to keep your card CAS!

I know I used this dapper bunny last week, but I love him so much I made a lot of Easter cards with him. The Mr. Rabbit is from Tim Holtz.   I  made a square card (5 x 5)  I stamped a variety of the stamps in this set to create the background.  Then I stamped a bunny and fuzzy cut him and adhered him over the text.  I used a sponge to add black ink on the background.  I also made an envelope.  This card is for my grandson Robert.  I hope it makes him smile!

I created my card using the Stampin Up Sweet as a Peach stamp set and You're a Peach DSP.  I bought this last year and totally forgot to use it.  I Love the colors and the summery feeling this brings.  I just followed the sketch and it came together quickly!

Happy Easter The Paper Players Challenge PP733

April 13, 2025

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

The sensational Stef is our hostess this week and she has a beautiful color combo for all of us!  This one shouts Spring.  So put on those thinking caps and get creative!

I wanted to use this fun bunny to create a card for Victoria.  She is my purple lover, so I used a jelly bean stencil and some distress ink to make the background.  I mounted the jelly bean panel on Crumb Cake and rounded all the corners.  Mr. Rabbit Stamp Set is from Tim Holtz.  I colored his suit, vest and tie using the yellow, aqua and green Copic Markers.  He looks very dapper to me.  I stamped the sentiment in black on Crumb Cake.  This card made me smile!

Paris is Always Good Idea The Paper Players Challenge PP732

April 6, 2025

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

The amazing Jan is our hostess this week and she has such a fun theme challenge for all of us!  Who doesn't have dreams of traveling?  I sure do--my bucket list is long!!  Have fun and get creative and let us see what you have in mind for traveling!

I have always wanted to go to Paris and I am actually going in June.  My dear friend is going with me so, I made this card for her.  I had this pad of paper in my stash from a few years ago.  I decided to make a slim line card with it.  I cut a scalloped black border using a die from Pink Fresh Studio.  The paper did all the work.  The girl on her bike is stamped using the Technique Tuesday stamp -Belle on a Bike.  I paper pieced her skirt and colored her with Copic Markers.  I love when the paper does all the work!
