Hello Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC345

Sept. 29, 2024

It's time for a new challenge at Sunday Stamps

We have a Color Challenge for all of you  We hope you have fun with these bright, vibrant colors.  I love them! You can make any type of card with this combo.

My card is created using Whimsy Stamps Pink Autumn paper pack.  I added a black panel to start and added a piece of the paper to the next layer.  I used another sheet of DSP and cut the frame using a die in my stash.  I can't find who makes the die though.  I added a layer of foam tape behind this panel to make the frame 3D.  The hello is cut using the Honey Bee Stamps Hello Cuts die.  I love that is has the outline part to make it pop off the card,  I cut a few orange, magenta and purple leaves to add behind the sentiment.  I love these bright, non-traditional colors for Fall.

So Grateful The Paper Players Challenge PP709

 Sept. 29, 2024

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

I am the hostess of the challenge this week!  I decided the Tic Tac Toe board should be all about FALL!  So pick your row, column or use the diagonal and show us your best creations!  Have fun!

I used the diagonal:  Leaves, Die Cut and Enamel Dots and the center column: Patterned Paper, Die Cut and Fall.  I guess that makes me an over achiever.  LOL!

I love leaves and this new die from Concord and 9th was calling my name.  It is called Autumn Inlay  I will say this was very time consuming to piece all the parts back to create this card.  The papers are from Creative Expressions Distress Plaid paper pack.  It is a fabulous set of papers.  So many pretty colors.  The sentiment is form Concord & 9th More to Say Die Set.  I love that is has the outline to make the sentiment pop.  I added a few copper enamel dots to complete my card.

Park Your Broom & Sit For A Spell The Paper Players Challenge PP707

Sept.15, 2024

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

The amazing Ann is our hostess this week.  She has a fabulous "Clean and Simple" Challenge for all of us.  Back to Nature is the theme.  You can use a plant of an animal on your project.   WOW--so many possibilities with this theme.  Have fun and get creative!

The Paper Players use the term "Clean and Simple" meaning:

Minimal Layers and Embellishments
Have plenty of open space
Are simple and uncluttered

I decided to add to my Halloween stash with a Clean and Simple card.  I used watercolor paper and distress inks to create the background.  I used an edge die to cut the panel.  The Clearly Besotted Halloween Hippo set was used for the hippo and the sentiment.  I colored the hippo with Copic Markers.  I also stamped a few bats in the evening sky.

It's time for a new challenge at Sunday Stamps

We have a fantastic sketch by Heather for all of you!  We hope you have fun and enjoy this tag sketch.  You can make any type of card with this sketch.

My card is created using a fun pattern for the background.  The tag was added and I cut the pencils using the Honey Bee Brilliant Day pencil stamp.  I colored the pencils with Copic Markers.  I added a piece of polka dot paper and the sentiment is from SugarPea Designs.  I bought this ruler ribbon and thought it was fun to add to my tag.

You Are Brilliant The Paper Players Challenge PP706

Sept. 8. 2024

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

The amazing Elizabeth is our hostess this week.  She chose this fun primary color challenge for all of us!  Bright and Bold--this combo makes me smile!  So, get creative and have fun!

This fabulous color combo made this old teacher's heart happy.  I loved playing with these colors.  I used a circle stencil to create this panel.  Real Red, Daffodil Delight and Pacific Point are the colors I chose.  Then I cut the panel with a scalloped border die.  I used the Honey Bee Stamps Brilliant Day set to stamp the crayons and sentiment.  I used the matching dies.  I colored the crayons with Copic Markers and added Wink of Stella for shine.  Red enamel dots were added to complete my card.
