May Your Christmas Be Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC350

 December 15, 2024

It's time for a new challenge at Sunday Stamps

The last challenge of the year is a fun sketch challenge by Lisa.  We can't wait to see what you create.  It is so versatile and you can make a card for any occasion with this one.

My card is created using a retro stamp set by The Ton.  Holiday Bows Stamp Set is fun and is always festive.  The gift wrap paper was in my stash.  I added a black circle behind the bows so, they would pop off the paper.  Wink of Stella and black enamel dots were added to complete my card.

JOY to the World The Paper Players Challenge PP

 December 8, 2024

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

The amazing Ann is our hostess this week!  She has a beautiful color challenge for the last challenge of 2024. Cherry Cobbler, Pretty Peacock and Gold are a regal combination!  You can also add black and white as neutrals.  We can't wait to see what you create!

A BIG thank you to Jolanda and Cynthia for being such fabulous guest designers.  We have enjoyed your beautiful contributions to our weekly challenges!

A Cherry Cobbler background was added to the card base.  I rounded the corners with a corner rounder.  Then, I added a white layer and rounded the edges and inked the edges with Cherry Cobbler ink.  The poinsettia was cut using a poinsettia die.  I cut the large die out once and used the smaller die to cut two.  The layers make it more dimens
ional.  I used Cherry Cobbler card stock and cut the leaves with Pretty Peacock DSP from the Stampin' Up Regal Winter card stock pack.  The "joy" was cut in gold foil four times and stacked to create dimension.  I heat embossed the "to the world" in gold embossing powder.   I added gold enamel dots to complete my card.

Merry Christmas! The Paper Players Challenge PP718

December 1, 2024

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

The lovely LeAnne is our hostess this week and she has a very fun Theme Challenge for all of us.  "Be A Deer" is the theme and with it being Christmas time, there are so many ways to use reindeer.  It doesn't have to be a Christmas card though.  It can be a deer of any type!  So, have fun and get creative.

I found this fabulous piece of retro Christmas paper in my stash.  I used the deer from a Avery Elle Stamp set.  I think this set is retired.  I colored the deer with Copic Markers.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set.  I added some red and white twine for a bow.
