Just Flying By To Say Hello Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC

It's time for a new challenge at Sunday Stamps. 


I created a fun layered sketch for all of you!  I love lots of layers and I hope you have fun creating a card with my sketch.  It is so versatile and one you can use over and over!  Have fun! 





I went to my local scrapbooking store the other day and found this amazing packet of paper from Graphic 45.  I feel in love with it and had to bring it home.  I used two of the coordinating flower patterns to make the panels.  I added a white twine bow around the panel.  Instead of cutting rectangles, I used the butterfly die cut and added one of their sentiments across the panel.  So, this card was so easy to create.  The paper did all the work.

With Brave Wings She Flies The Paper Players Challenge PP691

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND!
I hope you take time to reflect on the real meaning of this holiday!  I am forever grateful for all those that gave it all for me!  

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.  

I am the hostess this week and I created a fun sketch challenge for all of you!  I hope you have fun and get creative.  There are so many possibilities with this one.   




I just found out that one of my best friends has breast cancer.  She will have surgery this week and begin the process of chemo soon.  I wanted to send this card to her because I love the sentiment.  

I let my paper due all the work for me.  I found a lemon lime green scrap in my stash and used it to back the panels and used it for my horizontal strip.  I embossed it with a linen embossing folder.  The paper was cut in vertical strips and adhered to the card.  I used the die cut hummingbird and the sentiment on top of the panels.  I popped the hummingbird up with dimensional tape for my height.  I added a few pearls.

I Love You More Than French Fries The Paper Players Challenge PP690

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

It's Clean and Simple Week and the Lovely Anne Marie has a special challenge for all of us.  LOL--Lots of Laughs is the theme.  So show us your Humorous/ Punny cards and we will all smile when we see your creations!  Have fun and get creative!





I love french fries!  Do you?  I have had this stamp and die set for years and never used it.  I decided it was time to pull it out and dust it off.  I added a black panel behind my main one even though I know this is CAS week.  I thought it made the french fries pop off the card more.  I took a piece of watercolor paper and used distress ink and a sponge to create the yellow color.  Then I stamped the french fries on the yellow panel.  I cut them out with the matching die.  The box was made using red/white stripes and the die in the set.  I added a yellow heart and three little hearts using punches.  The sentiment is from the same set.

To Plant A Garden--- The Paper Players Challenge PP689

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!!!!



It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

The Amazing Ann is our hostess this week and she has a very pretty Color Challenge for all of us!  We can't wait to see what you create with this gorgeous palette! 



My card is created using a fun cover plate from Rubbernecker stamps.  I cut the frames twice with Lost Lagoon and Fresh Freesia.  I glued the frames on a white card base alternating the two colors.  The middle box is cut in white card stock.  I used the Stampin Up Painted Lavender stamp set to stamp the bundles of lavender.  I used the matching dies and green card stock to cut the leaves.  I added a white twine bow and pearls for fun.  The sentiment is from The Ton Timeless Icons Sentiment Set.

Friends are Like Seashells--- Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC335

It's time for a new challenge at Sunday Stamps. 

We have a beautiful color challenge for all of you! Have fun!  We can't wait to see your creations!



My card is created on a mauve base.  I used the Stampin Up Seaside Seashells die cut and sponged it with green ink.  I stamped the shells with the matching stamp set and fussy cut them.  I added deistress inks on the stamps to blend the colors.  I used the matching embossing folder on the Crumb Cake paper for the background.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set.  Pearls were added to complete my card.

You"re Tee-rific The Paper Players Challenge PP688

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

The Lovely LeAnne is our hostess this week and she has a very FUN Theme Challenge for all of us!  Animal Antics is on the board.  SO, dig out those animal stamps and have fun! 



My card is created for my son for Father's Day.  I dug out some green patterned papers and had some fun layering them.  This is a stamp set from SugarPea Designs.  It is called Tee-rific! It is retired now, but it is such a fun stamp to make masculine cards.  I colored him with Copic Markers and Paper Pieced his hat.  I added a pom pom on his hat and some enamel dots for fun.
