It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!
The lovely Laurie is our hostess this week and she has a fabulous color challenge for all of us! We can't wait to see what you create!
I must admit, this color challenge was hard for me! I kept thinking I should make a Christmas card. I needed a thank you card, so I remembered I had this Basic Grey paper in my stash, so I cut a piece to add to the bottom of the card. I trimmed the white panel with a scalloped border die. The flowers are cut using Real Red and the leaves are cut using Tranquil Tide. I used my favorite MFT dies Stitched Blooms.
Challenge Rules:
- Create a new paper-craft project specifically for this challenge.
- Upload your creation to your blog with a link back to us.
- Please provide a direct link to the post featuring your challenge entry.
- Please link your card to no more than four challenges, TOTAL, including ours
- Please be considerate of our requests; entries that do not follow any of these rules will be deleted without notification.
- Have fun, and thank you for playing with us!

Wow, Claire! What a beautiful card! The scalloped border set at an angle really ups the "Wow" factor. I love the flowers. Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteBlooms are always a good choice..beautiful thank you card! I found this color combo online, and it was used for nautical cards. I don't think any of us went that direction though..lol!
ReplyDeleteThe colors worked out great! The stitched dies add so much to your card!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty card! Love how the gray pulls it away from being a Christmas card! And I LOVE those dies!! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great design Claire! That asymmetrical scallop panel looks fabulous and I love those polka dots! Super pretty!
ReplyDeleteClaire, I love the grey polka dots - they are perfect with your big, bold flowers. What a wonderful, bright and cheerful thank you card. I love it!

I love that grey dotty paper and the scallop edge of your white angled layer adds a great feminine touch that really allows those fabulous blooms to shine - just gorgeous Claire!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun and happy card, Claire! The playful polka dots are the perfect touch, too.
