In Everything Give Thanks! PP418

November 11, 2018

Oh, what a week it was in Cabo!  I had a wonderful time celebrating 43 years of friendship with my Alpha Phi Sorority Sisters from Indiana University!  It was very difficult to return to chilly Atlanta last evening.  I stepped off the plane to 35 degrees!

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at  The Paper Players

The lovely Laurie is our hostess and she has a fun color challenge for all of us!

My card is created on a Smoky Slate card base.  I created the background using a retired background stamp from Waltzingmouse.  Unfortunately, they are no longer in business.   I used Poppy Parade to make the fun plaid background.
The leaves were stamped with So Saffron, Smokey Slate and Poppy Parade using a retired Stampin Up! stamp set called
Vintage Leaves.  The sentiment is from SugarPea Designs Indian Summer  stamp set and  stamped in Smoky Slate.  I added a few sequins to complete my card.

Create a NEW paper, or digital, project.

Upload your creation to your blog with a link back to us.
  1. Please provide a direct link to the post featuring your challenge entry.
  2. Please link your card to no more than four challenges, TOTAL.  Entries linked to more than 3 challenges, including ours, will be deleted without notification!
  3. Have fun!

All stamping products are welcome.  Thank you for joining us at The Paper Players!

  3. I love your card, a fun, festive fall creation! SO happy you had fun in Cabo too...but 35 degrees in Atlanta?! Yikes, that might have been colder than PA! And it's still autumn!

  6. Claire... the trip sounds idyllic! Love that you are making fall cards when you seem to be clearly in WINTER up in Indiana. Great card.
