Oh, what a week it was in Cabo! I had a wonderful time celebrating 43 years of friendship with my Alpha Phi Sorority Sisters from Indiana University! It was very difficult to return to chilly Atlanta last evening. I stepped off the plane to 35 degrees!
It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!
The lovely Laurie is our hostess and she has a fun color challenge for all of us!
The colors work awesome for a fall card...so beautiful Claire! 35 sounds pretty warm to me...it's 17 here with horrible winds...haha! Your trip looked so fun!!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you had a great time away with your university friends! The card is great too. I like the plaid background against the Smoky Slate base.
ReplyDeleteI love your card, a fun, festive fall creation! SO happy you had fun in Cabo too...but 35 degrees in Atlanta?! Yikes, that might have been colder than PA! And it's still autumn!
ReplyDeleteClaire, it looks like you had a great time in Cabo! I love your card with its plaid background and layered leaves, too! Such beautiful use of the colors.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous, Claire! You can't beat plaid for a background! You did a wonderful job stamping the leaves and incorporating the challenge colors. Woo hoo! It looks like you had a wonderful time with your sorority sisters.
ReplyDeleteClaire... the trip sounds idyllic! Love that you are making fall cards when you seem to be clearly in WINTER up in Indiana. Great card.
ReplyDeleteClaire, the trip must have been wonderful! I love the plaid background for your card and the overstepped leaves are a perfect reminder of the wonderful fall leaves laying in our garden. I love the sentiment, too.
