I know my card last week was created with alcohol inks, but I had so much fun making these panels and I just had to share them!  This blend of pinks and red matched the color palette perfectly.  The XOXOXO strip was cut using a Simon Says Stamp die.  The white heart and gold foil hearts are dies from Cherry Lynn Designs.
That is all there is to this card.  No stamping!  I love the way it turned out!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!  Leave a comment and let me know your thoughts!

  1. Claire these backgrounds are just stunning - your sparkly lettering and heart really show this one off to great effect. Gorgeous!

  2. Where to start with this wonderful piece? The alcohol ink background is a marvel. I'm keen to try this technique because the colours look so rich and the patterning so variable. The gold heart looks as though it's been hand embroidered or crocheted rather than being made of paper. The horizontal line of hugs and kisses.... sigh! You nailed it.

  3. That lovely swirly background shows off the sparkly gold so nicely!

  4. Lovely background for your sparkly Valentine card. what a festive treat for someone special!

  5. Your alcohol ink backgrounds are so pretty! I haven't done any for ages, and I don't know it's SO much fun. I always ooh and awe over each one. I love the shades on yours..beautiful!
