Happy Fall Y'all! I can't believe that it is almost 90 degrees in the ATL! I hope it is a little cooler where you live!
It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.
The amazingly talented Nance is our hostess this week. She has a fantastic sketch for all of us! The possibilities are endless so, have fun and start creating!
My card is created on a white card base. I added a piece of Christmas paper cut with a stitched rectangle die for my background. I used two different scraps of white and gold patterned papers to create the other two layers. The Christmas Gift A Bella stamp is used for this lovely lady. She is colored with Copic Markers. I used Marvy Snow for her fur and gold stickles were added to the gift. Lots of Wink of Stella was added, too. A few gold sequins were added for fun! A white banner and gold foil frame were added for the sentiment. She certainly is ready to celebrate the Christmas season!

Claire, it was warmer here in MSP that in was in ATL. We hit 100!!! Makes me yearn for the cold, winter weather your card evokes. I adore your fabulously colored focal element. I swear I used to have shoes that looked like that - and that cute little dress is adorable. What a great take on the sketch, my friend. I love it

What a fancy Christmas gal you have there, Claire! Love the cute dress and the snow for the fur!
ReplyDeleteShe is so cute! I love the fur and heels. Love that tree background paper too.
ReplyDeleteToday we went to a baptism and it was in the humid 90's in the twin cities in MN...no air in the church! Didn't know if I was going to make it..haha! Then we drove home...back up north to 55...needed a jacket! The leaves were gorgeous this weekend though.
Have a great week!
Wow! Never seen Marvy Snow before but it's .. marvy! I do love your lady - she is SO naughty and nice, all at once. It's amazing! I swear she could slink her way off the page! Amazing!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute little lady all dressed up for Christmas Claire - sounds like she'd be baking with your current temps though! Love the snow and those gold stickles to pick up the gold on the background papers - gorgeous!
