It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.
The sensational Stef is our hostess this week and she has a timely Clean and Simple Challenge for all of us. "Happy Autumn" is the theme. We all need a quick Fall card to send. So have fun and get creative, just remember to keep it CAS.
My card was very simple to create. I used Stampin Up Pumpkin Pie cardstock for the background and embossed it with the beautiful Stampin Up embossing folder. I received this amazing Softly Woven embossing folder from a very dear friend. I love it and I love her!! THANK YOU! --She knows who she is-- SMILE! Happy Mail is the best. I added a panel of SU Early Espresso cardstock cut with the Antique Frames from Penny Black. The beautiful fall DSP is from Whimsy Stamps. It is called Pink Autumn I cut it with the same frame set and also the sentiment frame. That's it--not adding embellishments is so difficult for me! Hope this is CAS enough.

Ooh, I do love the trees in that pretty pink color! Now I really want to make an autumn card with pink as the main color. Beautiful paper and a great way to showcase it.
ReplyDeleteWow, that patterned paper scene is simply glorious, Claire. The mix of pink with orange is always yummy. Love the edging the dies leave on the panels too. What a fabulous autumn card!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning, Claire! This pattern paper is gorgeous. I love that you let it take center stage and be the star of the show. I love these dies. The panels look great against the Pumpkin Pie embossed card base. Softly Woven is one of my favorite embossing folders. Have a wonderful week, my friend!
ReplyDeleteVery bright and cheerful. That paper with the pink trees is wonderful. :-)
ReplyDeleteThat scenery paper is amazing! What a gorgeous scene--fun to let the DSP do all the work, right?! Your diecuts and background paper work perfectly with it as well!
