May The Memories of Yesterday The Paper Players PP651

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.  

The Amazing Jaydee is our hostess this week and she has a great Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge for all of us!  It is always so fun to see all the fabulous entries on TTT Week! 


My card is created using the diagonal on the board: flowers, die cuts, slimline.

I used slim line dies and a piece of DSP I found in my stash.  I love when the paper does most of the work for you.  I used circle dies to create the layered circles in green and kraft.  The sentiment is heat embossed in white.  I added twine and pearls to complete the card. My friend's mother passed away this week and I needed a card to send her.

I Love You! Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC314

It's time for a new challenge at Sunday Stamps. 

We have a fabulous Sketch Challenge for all of you.

We hope you have fun creating your cards with this fun sketch!  Who doesn't love a large sentiment? 



 

My card is created using the Stampin Up Regal 6x6 DSP pad.  I added my sentiment in the center.  I cut the sentiment out twice.  Once in white and once in red and glued the red one on top of the white one.  I do not know where this die is from but, I think it is Simon Says Stamp.  It was in my stash of word dies.  I added a few hearts to complete my card.

Happy Birthday The Paper Players Challenge PP650

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.  

The Amazing Joanne is our hostess this week and she has a fabulous sketch challenge for all of us!  This sketch makes me happy because I love layers.  So many ways to use this versatile sketch!  So have fun and get creative! 



My sister is a huge cat fan.  She is a volunteer in her community at the Humane Society and spends countless on weekends rescuing feral cats.  It is a passion for her.  So, I purchased this stamp set just for her.  I used the Stampin Up Regals 6x6 DSP  for my background papers.  I added a white circle cut with a die and embossed it with a retired SU Embossing Folder.  The cat is stamped in black using the Gina K. Designs Cordial Cats  and I used the matching dies to cut it out.  The sentiment is heat embossed with white embossing powder using from the same stamp set.  I added enamel dots and Wink of Stella on the cat for shine.

Have a Super Day! Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC343

It's time for a new challenge at Sunday Stamps. 

We have a fabulous Color Challenge for all of you.

We hope you have fun using these gorgeous colors!





My card is created on a white card base.  I cut a frame from a die using blue card stock.  The sun burst pieces were added back in in bright yellow.  I cut a white sunburst frame and added it on top of the sunburst.  I  used a retired stamp set by Your Next Stamp called Super Heroes for the image.  I colored the hero using Copic Markers.  I added Wink of Stella for shine and Glossy Accents to the stars and lightning bolt.  The sentiment is from the same set.  I added three enamel dots to complete the card.  This card is from my grandson's birthday.  He will be 9.

You're Amazing The Paper Players PP648

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.  

The Amazing Ann is our hostess this week and she has a beautiful color challenge for all of us!  I love this combo and we are so excited to see what you create. 




I will admit that I had a hard time pulling this color combo together.  I started 3 different cards and couldn't get my idea to come together.  Then I pulled out the old Gorgeous Grunge Stamp set by Stampin Up and used the three colors to create the backdrop.  I cut a Berry Burst panel with a postage die and then added the white panel on top of it.  The flower is cut with a retired MFT die set.  I love this flower and leaf set and use it quite often.  The leaves are Lost Lagoon and the two shades of pink are used to create the flower layers.  The black piece is embossed with white embossing powder to create the sentiment.  A few enamel dots were added to complete my card.

At The Beach The Paper Players Challenge PP647

   July 2, 2023 

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players. 

The amazing LeAnne is our hostess this week!  She has a fabulous theme challenge for all of us!  How timely is this Beach Challenge?  So many people are at the beach this week for the holiday weekend!  So anything "BEACH" goes.  Have fun! 




I am a huge beach lover!  Are you?  My dear friend's mother's Memorial Service was this weekend and I made this card for her.  I used the SU seashell embossing folder to create the background.  I used Coastal Cabana card stock.  I used the die to this set and cut out one kraft seashell.  I sponged it with white ink and added lots of Wink of Stella to make it shine.  I added a twine bow around the panel.  A few pearls were added to complete my card.  I chose not to add a sentiment.  I thought the front was perfect the way it was.  I wanted to write a personal note inside.
