BEWARE! The Paper Players Challenge PP606

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.  Can you even believe it is the end of August??  This year is flying by! 

The amazing Ann Marie is our hostess this week and she has a fabulous sketch for all of us!  WOW--so versatile and perfect to use over and over again.

My card is created on a white card base.  I added a layer of black to create my card.  My patterned paper did all the work this week.  I had this paper in my stash from Carta Bella-"Trick or Treat".  I just love it.  I can't find it on their site, so it must be from the past.  I cut the huge polka dots for the background and used the coordinating papers for the two rectangle panels.  To add interest, I cut them with a scalloped die.  The papers included a page of stickers, so I used the spooky ghost and the Beware sentiment to complete my card.  The little candy corn stickers are from this set, too!

You Are A Life Saver PP 605 Papery Players Challenge SSC290 Sunday Stamps Challenge

It's Sunday and time for new challenges at The Paper Players and Sunday Stamps.  

The lovely Laurie is our hostess at The Paper Players this week.  It is Clean and Simple Week and the theme is Nautical!   

Sunday Stamps has a fabulous sketch by Annette this week!  It is so versatile and can be used for any type of card.  Have fun and we can't wait to see what you create! 

My card is created on a white card base.  I cut another white layer using a stitched die.  I added a piece of red with stars for the rectangle panel.  The wave was stamped using the SSS stamp set "Sailing".  It was part of a monthly kit that is no longer available.  The two circles were cut with stitched dies and the boat is stamped using the same set.  The sentiment is heat embossed in white powder.  It is also from this stamp set.  I did not add embellishments since it is CAS week.

AWWWWW! You Really Are THE BEST Tic Tac Toe Challenge #tttc175

It's time for a new challenge at the Tic Tac Toe Challenge!  We hope you will play along with our new board.

My card is created using the diagonal.  Turquoise, Die Cuts, Square

My card is created on a 5 x 5 white square card base.  I added a turquoise polka dot background.  The orange and striped patterned paper were cut using dies.  I added an orange rectangle across the card and embossed it with a polka dot embossing folder.  The white sunburst was cut using a Stampin Up die.  The little hippo and sentiment are from the Stampin' Up stamp set Hippist Hippos.

Welcome Little One The Paper Players Challenge PP604

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

The lovely Anne Marie is our hostess this week and she has an amazing color challenge for all of us!  I love black and white cards but, today you get to pick a "POP" of color to add to this fun challenge!  We can't wait to see what you create.  

I needed a special card for a friend's new grand- daughter!  The best part is--they named her Claire.  I decided this princess needed Neon Pink for the pop of color.  My card base is white and I added a black panel on top.  Then I used white and embossed it with polka dots.  Every girl needs polka-dots in the South.  I trimmed this panel with a scalloped die.  I cut a strip of Neon Pink triangles for the middle panel and added black to the back.  The stork and baby are stamped on white and colored with Copic Markers.  The stamp and sentiment are from Sugar Pea Designs.  The stamp set is called Bundle of Joy.  It is no longer available on their site.  It is perfect to welcome a new baby!  I cut the image out using an oval die and added a black oval frame. Wink of Stella was added for shine, and a black button and a white twine bow was also added for fun.  A few black enamel hearts completed my card.

HAPPY The Paper Players PP603 Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC289

It's Sunday and time for new challenges at The Paper Players and Sunday Stamps.  

The amazing Jaydee is our hostess this week at The Paper Players.  The theme for the week is "Birthday".  We always need lots of birthday cards in our stashes so, here is your chance to get ahead.

Sunday Stamps has a fun color challenge for all of us.  

Have fun and we can't wait to see what you create! 

  Use a minimum of 3 colors and a neutral of your choice.

My card is created on a white card base.  I cut an Early Expresso and Kraft layer for the two layers.  The flowers and leaves are created using the MFT Stitched Blooms dies,  I used red and coral card stock for the flowers and yellow for the leaves.  The happy was cut with a word die and three yellow enamel dots were added to complete my card.

Happy Birthday Tic Tac Toe Challenge #tttc173

It's time for a new challenge at the Tic Tac Toe Challenge!  We hope you will play along with our new board.

My card is created using the middle column: Frame It, Birthday, Free 

My card is created on a white card base.  I used brushed gold metallic card stock to create the frame, leaves and the sentiment.  I used dies for both.  The purple background is a fun piece of patterned paper and I cut the flowers using the same paper.  I used the MFT Stitched Blooms dies.  A few metallic pearls from SU were added to complete my card.

My card is created on a white card base.  I used the gold metallic for the background and then cut the 21, the balloons and the Congrats.  I used a variety of dies.  The gold metallic dots are from SU.
