I Just Hugged You In My Thoughts! Paper Players Challenge PP565

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!

The Amazing Ann is our hostess this week and she has a fabulous Tic Tac Toe Challenge for all of us!  SO many possibilities--we can't wait to see what you create! 


My card is created using the last column: die cuts, leaves/pumpkins/ embellishments


My card is created on a white card base.  I added an Early Expresso background on top of the card base.  The next layer is white. I added puffy clouds that I cut out with a cloud die and sponged around the cloud edges to create dimension.  The grass was cut with Garden Green paper using a grass die.  The little girl and all the leaves were stamped using a PI stamp set from MFT-- Jumping For Joy.  I colored her with Copic Markers and paper pieced all of her clothing items.  I used the matching die to cut her and all the leaves out.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set.  I added three orange enamel dots to complete my card.

    Oh, Claire! This card warms my heart. The saying is SO sweet, and the little girl with her paper-pieced outfit is adorable. You can't beat leafy leggings! You did an amazing job with my challenge! Have a wonderful week!

    I just pulled out my MFT stamp set that is similar to this one where she is raking leaves in hopes to use it. You just gave me a great idea to perhaps paper piece mine as well! Awesome card and thanks for the inspiration. Have a great week!

    Oh, Claire how adorable is this little scene! That paper-pieced outfit is the bomb! This card just made me smile and took my back to my childhood. Mind you, I never had leggings that cool! Fabulous card, Claire.
