What's Moo? Paper Players #457

September 1, 2019

Can you believe it is September?!?!  I can't!
I am sad summer is slowly coming to an end, but I love Fall, too!

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!

The lovely LeAnne is our hostess this week and she has a fabulous theme challenge for all of us!  "Down on the Farm" is right up my alley!  I grew up on a small farm in Indiana and I will always be a Hoosier at heart.  I love all my precious memories of living there.  I wish children could experience the life I had as a child.  Lots of animals, riding on a tractor, a huge garden and lots of corn everywhere were highlights of my childhood.

My card is created on a white card base.  I used the gingham and barn scene paper from SugarPea Designs Countryside Charm Patterned Paper .  The little farm girl, the cow, the goat and the sentiment are all from the SugarPea Designs Barn to Be Wild stamp set.  I colored the images with Copic Markers and added Wink of Stella for shine.  I used the matching dies to cut all the pieces out.
The sentiment is stamped on white and I cut the banner end with scissors.

  2. What a delightful and beautiful farm scene!! While I didn't grow up on a farm, we had a huge garden and there was always lots of canning, freezing, weeding, etc. involved! My grandparents lived on a farm and we always loved visiting them! Nothing like grandma's cooking with farm fresh eggs, milk, etc.!
