Celebrate the Season PP422

Dec. 9, 2018

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at  The Paper Players

Our amazing Joanne is the hostess this week!  She has a fabulous color challenge for all of us!  We can't wait to see what you create!

My card is created on a Shaded Spruce background.  I added a layer of plaid Christmas paper and then a layer of Very Vanilla.  The snowman is stamped in black using the Frosty and Friendsn by Artistic Outposts.  I colored the scarf, mittens and earmuffs with colored pencils.  I added a few enamel dots for fun.

  1. OK.... I love your card... the bold blacks of the snowman just pop off that background - love the DSPs, too. BUT..... It's Oliver that steals the show :-)

  5. Claire... your grandson is ADORABLE! and so is your adorable snowman.
I can't thank you enough for this year...the team's support and friendship were so precious to me throughout treatment. I have loved being on this DT...it has been so much fun! I will definitely miss the camaraderie each week. I am not disappearing though, I still plan to play along each week!

  6. The plaid background is lovely and creates a great setting for your snowman. You have shown me not to be so afraid of patterns and layers over my time with the team. Thank you.

  7. I love this rather retro-looking snowman and the way he blends into the frame. With all the black and white you really highlight this week’s colours. Love those bold enamel dots too. As for Oliver - what an absolute cutie!
