November 4, 2018

Greetings from sunny Cabo San Lucas!  I am on vacation with my Alpha Phi Sorority Sisters to celebrate our 40th anniversary from graduation at Indiana University!  WOW!  Those were the days!

I really debated on what colors to use on my card with the Sunday Stamps colors.  I finally decided on Soft Suede, Sahara Sand and Night of Navy.  I love the way these colors blended together.  My card base is Night of Navy.  I cut a rectangle stitched layer with Soft Suede.  I used a postage stamp die for the Sahara Sand.  The leaves are from a retired stamp set by Stampin Up!   Wonderfall  is still a favorite of mine.  I will never get rid of it.  I love the alphabet, plaid and polka dots on the leaves.  I added a twine bow and a button.  The sentiment is stamped in black.

  10. Claire, 40 years celebration. I love that - and that you have kept in touch and been friends for all those years. That's amazing. Know what else is amazing? this card! I swear this is my favorite card you have made for the PP. I am totally in love with the colors, the edges on the leaves and how well they work with the postage stamp die-cut. LOVE it!
