Thanks You"re A Peach PP406

August 19, 2018

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!

Our sensational Sandy is the hostess this week and she has a fun challenge for all of us!  It's a Clean and Simple week and we need to use fruits and vegetables.  What a perfect summer challenge idea!

My card is created on a white card base.  I added a rectangle of black and white striped paper from MFT.  The peaches are stamped in two shades of orange.  The set is from Papertrey Inks Still Life Summer stamps.  The sentiment is stamped in black.  It is from the same set.  Wink of Stella was added to the peaches for shine.  Since I live in Georgia, this is perfect for a Sweet Ga Peach that I know!

Looking for some inspiration?  Make sure you check out all the blogs of the Design Team Members.

We are so excited to announce that our Ann Marie is back with us!  She is amazing!

  1. Fruit and puns so often go together! This one is lovely. Your peaches look good enough to eat. The area where I live is a fruit growing area and I can't wait for the stonefruit season to start again... at the moment, I"m just seeing bare branches and a few blossoms beginning to show. Have a great week, Claire.

  7. What a fun stamp and sentiment...I had such a hard time finding something fruity for this challenge, looks like I should go "grocery shopping" over at PTI! LOL! Your card is fabulous, my friend. I hope you're having a good week ~ Hugs, Annie

  8. Love your punny card Claire and those overlapping peaches look good enough to eat (if I liked peaches, which I don't..too furry!). Perfect card for a Georgia Peach :) Cx
