It’s Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!
What an exciting day for us! It is our 400th challenge!!!!!!!!
Our theme this week is CELEBRATION!!!! We are celebrating YOU - our Paper Players. Without YOU we would not have reached such a major milestone.
We thank all of you for playing along with us. We also thank our past designers and guest designers who have helped us bring you inspiration for 50 weeks every year.
The crafting community really is an amazing community and we have been lucky enough to have some wonderful sponsors offer up incredible prizes to our players. In fact, we have 40 - yes, that is FORTY - prizes up for grabs. Now, that's a way to celebrate!

My card is created on a white card base. The watercolor panel was created using Blueprint Sketch Distress Ink and Tim Holtz Watercolor Paper and the smooching method. After the panel was dry, I trimmed it using the Avery Elle Wonky Stitches Dies. I rubbed Gathered Twigs Distress Ink on a piece of white card stock. Using the Celebration Box Dies from Honey Bee Stamps, I cut out the box and the flaps for the box. The tissue paper, balloons and bows were stamped using the Celebration Box Stamp Set on some scraps of patriotic papers that I found in my stash. The matching dies were used to cut them all out. Twine was used to tie the balloons together. The celebrate sentiment was cut using a die from Sugar Pea Designs. I cut it out three times in SU Real Red and once in SU Blueberry Bushel card stock. A few sparkling clear sequins were added for fun.
