Sending Smiles--PP382 and SSC173

It's Sunday and time for a new challenges at The Paper Players and Sunday Stamps!

It is not often I can combine these challenges but, this week it worked out perfectly!   I hope you will play along with both challenges! 

The sensational Sandy is our hostess at The Paper Players this week.  She has an amazing sketch for all of us!

My card is created on a Sahara Sand base.  I used a piece of vellum for the panel in the sketch.  I stenciled a background using Twisted Citron Distress Ink.  A rectangle panel was added in bright green polka dots for the next part of the sketch.  I stamped the pot and cactus from The Stamps of Life Succulents2 stamp set.  The matching dies  were used to cut all the pieces.  I paper pieced the flower pot with the same polka dots.  The cactus was colored with Copic Markers.  The sentiment is stamped in black ink and a few sparkling sequins were added for fun! A simple and quick card to bring a smile to a special friend!

    Wow...this works so well for both challenges! Love how you used the colors and added the sequins...just the right embellishment to finish off your card! Have a great day!
