Grateful For You!--PP364

October 1, 2017

It is the first day of October!  This is my favorite month of the year.  It even feels a little like Fall in Atlanta, GA today!  The leaves are falling and there is a nice breeze.

It is Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!

The amazingly talented Sandy is our hostess today.  An Autumn Floral theme is up this week!  I can't wait to see all of your beautiful entries!

My card is created on Natural card stock.  I love the flecks of brown in this paper.  I cut the layers with the MFT Mod Rectangle Stax dies.  I sponged the edges with Memento Rich Cocoa ink.  The flowers and leaves were stamped with fall shades of ink using the MFT Fall Florals set.  The matching dies were used to cut out all the pieces.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set.  A natural twine bow and some sequins were added.  Wink of Stella was used to create a shine on all of the gorgeous blooms and leaves.

Don't forget to stop by all the DT members fantastic blogs for inspiration!  You won't be disappointed!

  1. I like the way you've sponged the edges on those funky rectangles. It accentuates the shapes and brings out the browns of your equally funky bouquet. The sequins add a touch of bling. It's a lovely creation, Claire. I think my favourites are the three orange stalks in the back.

  3. Oh my, I love the retro/atomic look of this fall bouquet! The bounty of your arrangement is the look I tried to achieve and didn't have a stamp set to make it happen, gasp! You've interpreted the theme perfectly and I love the pop of purple. Great job, Claire!
