I had a difficult time selecting an image. I love all the symbols of Christmas. I was going through my huge box of stamps and found this adorable Rudolph that had never been inked up. I thought he needed some love. I think all of us relate Santa with Rudolph so, I decided he needed his place among the symbols. I started with an embossed panel using a snow flake embossing folder. Then I added a panel of lemon lime card stock. I rounded the corners with a punch. The Rudolph was stamped using a retired Avery Elle stamp set called Reindeer Wishes. They are no longer in business, but I loved their stamps and have several in my stash. I colored the image with Copic Markers. I added Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents to make the ornaments shine. The sentiment is from the same stamp set.

Your reindeer is totally adorable, Claire! I love how you made the ornaments shiny too. Reindeer were my second choice for this week's theme so I will have to make a reindeer card soon : ) It'll be hard to top this cutie, though.
ReplyDeleteClaire, your stash once again yielded a wonderful find with this super cute reindeer! Love how you colored the ornaments and made them shiny. So sweet! I was sad to read that Avery Elle had shuttered their business. It's hard to see all these wonderful companies close down. But I'm so glad you had Mr. Reindeer on hand to come out and play!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful! Your light betangled reindeer gave me a big smile. Love the colours you've chosen - they're bright and fresh. This a fun Christmas card. :-)
ReplyDeleteRudolph has never looked cuter, Claire! His ornament bedecked antlers are so fun and colorful. However, it was his gorgeous eyelashes that brought a smile to my face. This is such a GREAT image. Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteRudolf wearing a rainbow of baubles - how fabulously festive Claire, I love it!
ReplyDeleteI love most all Christmas images too! This cute little reindeer is so adorable! Bright and cheerful and fun!
ReplyDeleteClaire, finally a female Rudolph(a)! What a fabulous die, and I love how you colored her. Those baubles hanging from her antlers are perfect! Your card absolutely made me smile!
