It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.
The Sensational Stef is our hostess this week and she has a beautiful color combo for all of us. This one just shouts Spring/Summer! So get creative and have fun!
I started with a piece of peach polka dots and added 3 panels using the coordinating floral pattern from the Stampin Up paper pack called "You're a Peach" to create the background. I used LeAnne's fabulous sketch from a few weeks ago. It was perfect for my background. The flowers are from Spellbinders Be Bold Blooms Etched Dies. I used all the colors to create this bouquet. I will admit this took some time to create. Lots of die cutting and arranging the flowers but, I love how it turned out. This birthday greeting was made for my niece, Sara. These are her favorite colors. I used a polka dot embossing folder on the flab of the envelope.

My goodness, Claire, you sure know how to put together so much on one card. I love the polka dots and the dsp, as well as the huge bouquet on top! It all turned out beautifully and I'm sure your niece is going to LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteI didn't realise until I looked at your card more closely today that we actually used the same two papers Claire - great minds indeed! Those diecut flowers really steal the show though - how fabulous!
ReplyDeleteClaire... great choice of flowers with that gorgeous DSP!
ReplyDeleteAn absolute symphony of summer with the abundance of flowers! I'm sure you niece will love it! :-)
ReplyDeleteLOVE all those flowers you used, as well as the pretty polka-dotted background! Fun way to use that sketch too! :D I hope your niece loves it!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, Claire! Can a card be any sweeter? I adore the polka dot and floral papers. The die cut flowers are gorgeous. It's such a happy, cheerful card. I LOVE it and I know Sara will love it, too!
ReplyDeleteClaire, I love those polka dots and that you die-cut some flowers with polka dots to tie the background to the focal point. What a gorgeous profusion of flowers and a perfect birthday card. I am sure it will be loved!
