It's Sunday and time for new challenges at The Paper Players and Sunday Stamps.
The fabulous Joanne is the hostess at The Paper Player this week and she has an amazing Theme Challenge for all of us! The Theme is "LOVE" but, you don't have to make a Valentine. You could do one for an anniversary, as wedding or just someone you love! Have fun and get creative!
Melissa designed the fantastic sketch for all of us to use at Sunday Stamps! It is so versatile and you can use it for any type of card.
I cut a Smokey Slate background for my card and rounded the edges with a corner trimmer. The top layer is Berry Blast Soft Shimmer paper by Stampin Up. I embossed this with a heart embossing folder. I added three Smokey Slate circles cut with dies for my hearts. I stamped the hearts with Berry Blast ink and cut them out with the matching dies. The sentiment is from an old Valentine set I found in my stash. I added a white twine bow and three rhinestones to complete my card. I added some Wink of Stella to the hearts to make them shine!

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, Claire! With its gorgeous shimmer paper panel, I can only imagine how beautiful this card is in person. I love how you embossed it with this heart embossing folder. The rhinestones are perfectly placed and draw the eye right to the stamped hearts and sentiment. LOVE it!
