Just Relax The Paper Players Challenge PP596

 June 19, 2022

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

The lovely Jaydee is our hostess this week!  She has a very fun Clean and Simple Challenge for all of us--One Layer Cards!  Have fun and we can't wait to see your creations!

My card is created on a white card base.  I must admit, I was focused on the one layer card and missed the CAS part.  I stamped the seahorse from Lavinia-Sebastian the Seahorse in black ink.  Then, I stenciled different  shades of oxide distress inks from Tim Holtz--Prize Ribbon, Broken China, Cracked Pistachio and Mermaid Lagoon to create the background.  I used a stencil I found in my stash for the waves and a Tim Holtz circle stencil for the bubbles.  The sentiment is from MFT PI Serenity stamp set.  I used white embossing powder on black card stock.

  1. Please provide a direct link to the post featuring your challenge entry.
  2. Please link your card to no more than four challenges, TOTAL, including ours
  3. Please be considerate of our requests; entries that do not follow any of these rules will be deleted without notification.
  4. Have fun, and thank you for playing with us!

Don't forget to check out all the amazing projects from the Design Teams.

  8. Oh, Claire! I love this elegant seahorse amidst the bubbles. The colors you selected are so "zen". I feel more calm and relaxed just looking at it. Great job!

  9. I just love this Claire! The seahorse makes a great focal point and that background is amazing - I could be scuba diving in the Caribbean, its so watery and realistic!
