Merry Christmas Paper Players Challenge PP570

 Dec. 5, 2021

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!

The fabulous Jaydee is our hostess this week and she has an amazing Theme Challenge for all of us!  We can't wait to see what you create.

My card is created on a red card base.  I used the directions and CAS'd the amazing Ann Schach's Double Z-Fold Card from a few weeks ago.  I loved her card so much!  I found this retired SU Christmas village paper in my stash and thought it was perfect.  It looks like a winter wonderland to me!  The DSP was from the Home for Christmas paper pack.  I backed each panel with green paper and then added an embossed snowflake panel on the top.  The snowflakes were stamped in Soft Sky using the retired Snowflake Flurry set by SU.  I used the matching dies to cut them out.  The sentiment is from an old set, too!  I guess it is "old home week" for my card.  I love a lot of the old sets I have saved and it fun to pull them out at times to show them some love.  A few rhinestones and my card is complete.  I also made a matching envelope.  Thank you, Ann for the inspiration!

  3. What stamp set did your sentiment come from? I know you said it was retired, would appreciate knowing which one to see if I have that? Is there some reason, you don't tell us the name of the retired dsp? I know, I have a lot of retired dsp to use up, just makes it easier to figure this out. I did find Ann Schach instructions on how to do. Thank you. Pretty Card.

    1. Hi Linda, I did some research and found the DSP was called Home for Christmas DSP pack. I just didn't have the info when I wrote my blog. Sorry! I am still trying to find the stamp.
