HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND!!!!!

I hope you have a relaxing weekend and reflect on the true meaning of this special holiday!

It's Sunday and time for new challenges at The Paper Players and Sunday Stamps.  

The lovely Leanne is the hostess at The Paper Players  this week.  She has a fabulous Tic Tac Toe Challenge for all of us.

The Sunday Stamps Challenge is a beautiful sketch by Annette.  It is such a versatile sketch for any occasion!

Have fun and get creative with your projects! 





My card was super easy to create and it packs a punch.  I started with a white card base.  I added the red, white and blue stars and stripes paper on the top.  The red and blue stars were cut with dies and the sentiment is a sticker.  I added two white enamel dots to the center of the stars.  That's it!

Have a Tee-rific Day! Tic Tac Toe Challenge #tttc115

It's time for a new challenge at the Tic Tac Toe Challenge!

We hope you will play along with our new board! 



My card is created using the diagonal: Dad, Twine, Wood and the middle column: Plaid, Twine, Sports. 


My card was very easy to create.  It is on a white card base.  I added a wood grained paper for the background.  A layer of plaid was added on top.  This golfer was in a pack of vintage golf paper.  I cut him out and added him to the top of the card.  Twine was added around the bottom of the picture.  The sentiment is from Your Next Stamp Tee Time.

For Your Baby Shower Paper Players Challenge PP542

It is Sunday and you know what that means!  It's time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!

The amazing Jaydee is our hostess this week and she has a fun sketch challenge for all of us!  The possibilities are endless, so have fun!


My card is created on a white card base.  I added a retro piece of baby paper that I found in my stash on the top.  I added a coordinating plaid on the bottom to follow the sketch.  The circle is cut with a die using another piece of patterned paper from the same pad.  The little onsies are stamped in blue using the old Stampin Up Something for Baby Set.  I used the matching dies to cut them out.  The little tie is cut out of another pattern using the die in this set.  The sentiment is stamped in black and red enamel dots were added for fun.

A Little Note Paper Players Challenge PP541 and Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC257

It's Sunday and time for new challenges at The Paper Players and Sunday Stamps.  

The amazing Anne Marie is our hostess this week at The Paper Players  and she has a fun Clean and Simple Challenge for all of us!  You know I love polka dots so, I am a happy girl!  Nothing more "southern" than polka dots!  Remember to keep it CAS this week! 

Sunday Stamps  has a beautiful color challenge! It was so easy to combine these two challenges this week!  

So put on those thinking caps and get creative! 



CLEAN AND SIMPLE WEEK
MINIMAL LAYERS
LITTLE TO NO EMBELLISHMENTS
LOTS OF CLEAN WHITE SPACE (NO PATTERN)


Use a minimum of 3 colors and a neutral of your choice.

I had a lot of fun creating this card.  My card base is white and then I added a white panel embossed with large polka dots for my background.  A panel of black was added for accent and then another white layer was added.  These little daises are from Clearly Besotted Celebrating You stamp set.  I stamped the daisies in black and colored the centers with yellow Copic Markers and also added some gray on the petals to create dimension!  The bright pink bow was cut using a die in this set.  I stamped the sentiment in stamp!

Hello Darling--What's For Dinner? Tic Tac Toe Challenge #tttc113

It's time for a new challenge at the Tic Tac Toe Challenge!

We hope you will play along with our new board! 


My card is created using the middle column:  Diamond, Stickers, Telephone!



My card is created on a white card base.   I added a panel of retro telephones at the top of the card and a black panel on the bottom.  I cut a red frame using two square dies to create the diamond shape.  The red rick rack strip is cut with a die.  I cut the man out of a piece of retro paper and the sentiment is a sticker I created using my label maker!   Hope my card made you smile!

So Berry Kind of You Paper Players Challenge PP540

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mama's Out there!

I hope you have a fabulous day!  

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!

The lovely Laurie is our hostess this week and she has a fun color challenge for all of us!  I love red, so I really enjoyed this palette.  We can't wait to see what you create!  





My card was created on a white card base.  I added a black and white check on the bottom and a light grey panel on the top of the card base  I trimmed the bottom of the gray panel with a scalloped border die.  I cut a second layer in Real Red to separate the two panels.  I stamped the strawberries in Real Red ink using the Concord & 9th Sweet Strawberries Stamp Set .  I cut them out with the matching dies.  I added Wink of Stella for shine and a few enamel dots to complete this fun card.

Let's Have Fun! Paper Players Challenge PP539 Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC256

It's Sunday and time for new challenges at The Paper Players and Sunday Stamps.  

The amazing Joanne is the hostess at The Paper Players  this week.  She has a fabulous Theme Challenge for all of us!  Snips, Snails and Puppy Dog Tails--Cards for Boys!  I love this idea.  

The Sunday Stamps Challenge is a beautiful sketch by Heather.  It is such a versatile sketch for any occasion!

Have fun and get creative with your projects! 


 


My card is created on a white card base.  I found this safari paper in my stash and knew it was perfect for a little boys card.  I added the collage of animals for the background and a matching plaid for the rectangle strip.  The leopard paper was cut with a starburst die.  The white rectangle was cut with a die and white twine was used around the center of the plaid.  The little boy and the sentiment were stickers in the kit.  This card was quick and easy to make, but I think it is so fun!  I added the leopard print on the envelope flap for fun!
