It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!
The amazing Jaydee is our hostess this week and she has a fabulous sketch for all of us! This is so versatile and I had a lot of ideas. I will definitely use this sketch over and over!
My card is created on a black card base. The top layer was created by sponging Hickory Smoke and Blueprint Sketch Distress inks on a piece of watercolored paper. I trimmed it to create the two panels and adhered it to the base. The moon is created using Distress ink and I added a little Hickory Smoke on the edges to make it look spooky. The Frankenstein is from MFT Frightful Friends and cut out with the matching dies. I colored him with Copic Markers, added Wink of Stella and goggly eyes. The bats are from the same stamp set. The graves were stamped in black using the Grave Situation stamp set by MFT. I cut them out with matching dies and colored them with Copic Markers. The sentiment is from the BB Frightfully Sweet stamp set by MFT.

LOL, your little Frankie doesn't look spooky at all...he's a cutie! LOVE the sentiments...that's the best part of Halloween...the CHOCOLATE!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute card, Claire! And if chocolate were deadly, I'd be a goner too, lol!
ReplyDeleteGhoulishly good! Your googly eyes have turned up trumps again, Claire. I'd never seen the need for them but you have certainly shown how much they can add to a card. Chocolate - also my nemesis!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie patootie card, Claire! Who can resist a vampire with googly eyes!!! Love it!
ReplyDeletesuch a fun halloween card!
