Happy Father's Day to all the Daddy's out there! My Daddy has been gone over four years now and I miss him every day! I now celebrate my sons and son in laws for being great dads!
It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!! We are celebrating our 300th Challenge! Isn't that amazing?!? I am very thankful to be on this team! Each member is so multi-talented and their friendships mean so much to me! I have not been on the DT since the very beginning, which was in 2010, but it's fair to say that the challenge has evolved a lot over the years. I'd like to give a special shout out to Lesley Croghan, the creator of this challenge, and to Nance Leedy, our fearless leader and badge designer extraordinaire.
I hope you will play along and join our CELEBRATION! My blog candy is a secret, but I know you will love it! Don't you love surprises?
It's a Clean and Simple theme challenge from Jaydee: CELEBRATION!!!! To celebrate this occasion we have blog candy to give away, and lots of it!! The team has assembled not one, not two, but TEN grab bags full of stamping goodness! To be legible to win one, all you need to do is play along with our challenge this week. You can play as many time as you like, but each needs to be a new project (no back linking, please) and see The Paper Players for our other challenge rules. Winners will be selected from the PP300 challenge participants using Random.org and will be posted on Saturday, June 25.
My card was created on a white card base. I cut the top layer with the SugarPea Designs Stitched rectangle dies. I used Stormy Sky and Hickory Smoke distress inks and a blending tool to create the night sky. I stamped the sentiment in black Versa Fine ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. The sentiment is from a retired Stampin' Up! stamp set, Fabulous Four. The Ton Pyrotechnics stamp set was used to create the fireworks. I stamped each with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed them with silver, gold, red and blue embossing powders. It really looks so much better in real life. I could not capture the shine in my pictures. Silver sequins were added for fun.
So happy you stopped by my blog today! Please leave a message! I love to hear from you!
Don't forget to check out the fabulous inspirations from our design team and I hope that you will play along with our challenge this week.
