It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players and Sunday Stamps! I have been on these two teams for quite a while and never had a chance to make one card that meets both challenge requirements. It came at the perfect time because we are in the middle of moving and I had to search to even find tape to make my card! LOL! I have boxes and boxes everywhere, so that was the REAL CHALLENGE!!!!
The lovely Laurie is our hostess at The Paper Players this week and she has a fabulous sketch challenge for us! It is such a versatile sketch! Sunday Stamps requires you to use a minimum of three colors and a neutral. We can't wait to see what you create!
My card is created on a white card base. I used a piece of black and white paper that I found in my stash and the Zig Zag Stitched Rectangle Die to cut it. I thought it looked like a road. The Keep On Trucking stamp set and matching Die from Your Next Stamp were used to create the backhoe. I stamped it on Neenah Solar White and colored it with Copic Markers. I added Glossy Accents to the windows. The Zig Zag Stitched Circle Die was used to cut the circle. Gathered Twigs and Stormy Sky Distress inks were used to sponge the background. A stitched flag from My Favorite Things was used to cut the banner and the sentiment was stamped with black Versa Fine ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Black enamel dots were added for fun.
So happy you stopped by my blog today! Please leave a message! I love to hear from you!
