Peace & Joy--CASE-ing Christmas

 Today, I am happy to announce that I am a new member of the CASE-ing Christmas Challenge!  I am so excited to be a part of this fabulous group of designers!

This month we are featuring a card created by Steph-onecraftychica.blogpspot.com.  Her beautiful card has so many lovely features to CASE.  We can't wait to see what you create using this inspirational photo of her card.  

My card base is Very Vanilla.  The next layer was created using Tim Holtz distress inks on watercolor paper.  (Barndoor Red and Worn Lipstick)  I cut the rectangle with a stitched rectangle die. I placed a Ranger Diamond stencil on top of the watercolored paper after it dried and applied embossing paste tinted with Soft Suede re-inker. I let it dry over night.  

I stamped the snowflakes on Very Vanilla with Soft Suede ink.  I cut them out using the matching dies.  The stamp and die are retired, Stampin' Up! products--"Festive Flurries".  I added lace and linen thread to the top of the card and also used twine to hang the snowflakes from the lace.  Rhinestones were added to each snowflake and on the bow and sentiment.  


  The sentiment is from a retired Stampin' Up! stamp.  It was stamped on vellum with black Versa Fine ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

    Beautiful card. Love the background treatment. My fave on your card has to be the snowflakes ... I love, love, love them!!! they were one of my faves from the SU catalog. So glad to be one of your new team members.
