You've Been On My Mind--PP236

 It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!!  This week the lovely, Ann has a Clean and Simple Floral challenge for us!  Spring is getting very close now.  We can't wait to see what you create!

I think Clean and Simple is the hardest type of card for me to create.  I am a lover of lots of layers and lots of bling.  I decided I was really going to make an effort to make my card CAS this time.  

I used the "Blended Bloom" stamp from Stampin' Up!  I stamped it in Versa Mark and then heat embossed it with white embossing powder.  I used my Peerless Watercolors to paint it.  I love the way it turned out.  I used the new Simon Says Stamp, "Flowers on My Mind" for the sentiment.

    This is beautiful - and sure looks CAS to me! I love your flower so it looks like I need to get back to watercoloring. I hear that GA weather is all warm and sneezy now. Looking forward to it coming up to MI soon (we might even hit 60* this week)!

    This beautiful flower sings spring to me too! Meanwhile, the sky here is gray, cloudy, and we have 30mph winds.....a far cry from spring, so I am happy to gaze upon your pretty card!

    Claire you'd never know that CAS is a challenge for you because you nailed this one! Love the gorgeous flower and all that beautiful white space, made even more special by the stitching and pretty envelope!

    You've made such a beautiful clean and simple card! I love the way your blended bloom looks, I may have to pull that out again, I've only used it once. Sigh. And I love that sentiment! On my way to check it out!!

    Simply CAS-tastic Claire! Love the pop of color on the clean white space. I really like the white-on-white layering, too. Very pretty! :)
