It was so beautiful here today! I went outside and read for a while and still had time to sneak back in my craft room.
I wanted to play along with the Pals Paper Arts color challenge this week!
I know these are perfect colors for St. Patrick's Day. I don't really have any stamps for this holiday, but I did find a friendship stamp from Lawn Fawn in my stash. I thought I would ink it up and use it. I created a chalkboard using white ink on black card stock. I added a little gold glitter on the horseshoe "U" to make it pop!
My card base is white and I used a layer of black on top of the base. A strip of Flower Pot Designer Series paper and a strip from the Regals Backgrounds DSP pack was used for the top layer. A frame was created using my square dies and Garden Green for the chalkboard. The Owl punch has a little heart, and I used three hearts to create the shamrocks. Gold sequins from Pretty Pink Posh were used as the centers of my shamrocks and then a few more were added just for fun!
A simple sentiment inside with a decorated envelope finishes my card. There is still enough room to write a personal note in the card.
So happy you stopped by my blog. Please leave a comment if you have a chance. I love to hear form you!
